The two families decided to get back to Delhi and have the wedding functions at Shantivan. Arnav and Khushi agreed but were disappointed that they wouldn't get to see each other as often which made them want to get married even more but they knew they had to control their urges.
It was the evening of the Shagun and all the Raizada's except for Akash had gotten ready and proceeded to the Gupta house with the gifts. Buaji and Amma were running around the house frantically getting everything in place while Khushi was helping Payal get ready. Payal wore a simple yet elegant green and pink anarkali suit. She wore very light makeup and braided her hair leaving her fringe to fall lightly on her face. She looked beautiful! Khushi on the other hand wore a short hot pink top with yellow embroidery and a yellow Patiala trouser with a yellow, pink and blue dupatta.She wore light makeup as well and tied up her hair into a high ponytail with her usual fringe going sideways. Khushi looked beautiful yet adorable!
The doorbell of the Gupta house rang which alerted them that the in- laws were here. Amma and Buaji nailed the finishing touches and ran to open the door. The Raizada's smiled warmly at them and they were soon ushered into the house. The Gupta house was beautiful yet simple. It was a 3 storey house with a stunning garden and flowers everywhere. Payal and Khushi shared the second floor while Buaji, Shashi and Amma had the first floor and the third floor consisted of Shashi's office and the terrace. Nani, Mami and Anjali sat down next to each other while NK, Arnav and Mamaji sat right opposite the women. Amma shouted out for Khushi and she came running out with a huge smile on her face. The women smiled broadly at her and NK managed to finally Hi5 Khushi much to Arnav's dismay. Arnav was awestruck at the beauty of Khushi. She as so lively and energetic that it made him want to get up and start doing bhangra. 'Arnav Singh Raizada, did you just think of doing bhangra? ASR does not do bhangra! What the???' Arnav thought mentally while shoving the thought away. Khushi looked at him and smiled widely. That special smile of hers was only reserved for him to see. Khushi's 1000watt smiled was only and only Arnav Singh Raizada's personal packet of happiness. He smirked and winked at her and turned away trying not to giggle at her.
Khushi was shooting death glares at Laad Governor. 'Did he just wink at me? What the! Wait did I just say 'what the'? Oh god kkg what is wrong with you? Laad governor doesn't even call me today and he has the nerve to wink at me! Wait and watch LG, you have no idea who you are messing with!' Khushi thought while plotting revenge at her very own LG. Amma told her to bring Payal out and she went back and brought her out.
All the elders blessed Payal with a happy married life and went on with the ritual. They had to admit out loud how very beautiful Payal was. Her gentleness, calm and loving nature had them going on and on about how very lucky Akash is to which Payal blushed crimson and thanked them for their sweet comments. Payal went and stood next to Khushi and Khushi as usual started teasing her about Akash and Payal's tragic 1950's love story. She softly started singing 'Khabootar jaa jaa jaa' to which Payal stifled back a giggle and shoved a hand at Khushi's arm and smacked her while Khushi just grinned and continued melodramatically about their quiet suhagrat. "Jiji are you going to not say anything at all on your suhagrat or are you two going to get on with some uhm 'activities'?" Khushi teased quietly while she earned a light smack from her sister. They were both smiled broadly when Khushi suddenly became emotional. "Jiji you are going to leave me soon...don't go jiji'..please don't go..." Khushi said lightly. Payal looked up at her and smiled thoughfully and said "Khushi! Who told you I was leaving? I am not leaving you girl! Just because I will live in another house doesn't mean that you can't meet me! You can come whenever you want and you will have to anyway considering that Arnavji won't let you be!" Khushi smiled at the mention of Arnav and looked up and blushed "But still jiji at night, who will I run to when I get a bad dream or if I get scared of the dark? I'm all alone now..." Khushi said tearing up a bit. Payal hugged her tight and kissed her forehead. They continued their little sister talk till Payal had to go and talk to Nani so Khushi quietly crept out of the house and went up to the terrace. Arnav saw her going up so he discreetly followed her tracks.
Khushi was looking up at the sun setting while rubbing her arms up and down from the cold. She was thinking about Payal when she suddenly gasped when she felt arms going around her waist and tightly forming a barrier from the cold. She calmed down when she felt who it was and instead rested her head on his chest. Arnav moved his arms upwards and possessively wrapped them around her arms while breathing in her scent. He bit her earlobe while mumbling "I missed you baby'.." Khushi sighed in content and snuggled her back even closer and closed her eyes allowing the sweet torture his lips were creating. He placed warm kisses on her ear and moved down to her neck all the while blowing on her skin causing her to shiver with pleasure. She giggled when his breath started tickling her skin so she pulled out of his embrace and ran across the terrace only to have him running behind her and getting a hold of her waist and twirling her around. She giggled and moaned in happiness when he continued placing teasing kisses all across her back. "Arnaaav let me go! Someone might come!!" screamed a laughing Khushi. Arnav turned her around and started his sweet assault of his lips on her face and moved down but he never touched her lips. He would always reach her lips but end up kissing her chin or the side of it which started irritating our Sanka Devi. She had enough! She brought his face up and placed a hard kiss on his waiting lips. He smiled against her lips while pecking softly and brought his arms around her waist while Khushi grinned against his lips as well and brought her hands and tightly placed them around his neck. He smirked and bit her lip and said "looks like someone missed me huh baby?" Khushi smacked his chest and continued to peck his lips and said "yeah I totally missed you Laad Governor! Urr maybe NOT!" Khushi said sarcastically while Arnav gave her a mischievous look which alerted Khushi to run so she backed away and screamed in joy and ran away from him. He smirked broadly and ran behind her. Khushi tripped on a stone and let out a scream but Arnav managed to catch her and they both fell down on the hammock. Arnav was on top of Khushi while she let out a sigh of being safe in his arms. He made himself comfortable and moved to the side of her and she cuddled into his arms from the side and placed her head on his chest and closed her eyes. "I missed you and I love you baby!!" she cooed into his ears. He smirked and pulled her down and pecked her lips and said "I missed you and I love you too baby...'"
