Being a public figure does not deny him the right over his own life

There is another section screaming he lied to them

Does this mean none of you have lied in your life?

He owes the truth to his friends, family and co stars

To the fans he said he is leaving

What, why and where is no one's business but his own

So you have a right to your privacy and your plans but he doesn't?

After 13 years in corporate life, let me assure you when a person leaves a job and takes up another offer, they always keep things under wraps till the 11^th hour

And there is one more section behaving as if he has wronged them

He left a show

Whatever be the reasons they are his reasons

He worked for 18 months on this show

Gave us countless hours of his life

Double shifted with a movie

Where is the thank you for that?

Because you think he slogged for money and all this effort thing for audience is nonsense

So now he has decided to slog for more money, you should not have a problem

If you think he was in this show for money, then there is no reason to feel wounded if he left for more money

But if you think he loved the show and worked for it, then there will be some appreciation too along with bashing

So if he does not get a thank you,

Such an audience also does not deserve him to stay back

Another section blaming him for Sanaya's tears

Really?

Sanaya herself has always spoken of him in high regard

She blames the fans and not Barun (which is also weird because star plus and 4 lions could not handle the business pressure)

And even if we agree he is to blame

He still owes an apology to his costars and not us

We are not the moral police who can hang him for daring to choose to leave a show

Which he wanted to leave

Everyone hs a right to job satisfaction and growth

How is Barun an exception?

There is this famous Rafi song in Pyaasa which says

'Ek hath se deti hai duniya (The world gives with one hand)

Dono hathon se le leti hai (Takes away with both hands)

Yeh duniya agar mil bhi jaaye to kya hai (What is the point of getting such a world)

Just a small section remains which wishesBarun the human being does well in his life

Because Barun the human being did not ask for anything except to do his job and entertain his audience and give his role everything, which he did till the 11^th hour

So what is the use of fans who cant be happy for him?

So, I would say,

Go Barun Go

Live your life and your dreams

And away from fans who cannot wish you anything good

Though you entertained them for 18 months

Because those who appreciate your work

Will always be there with you in all your ventures

Hi Rima, excellent post and yes I am surprised and pleased to see this post from you. As you are aware I am not a fangirl or drooler of Barun or for that matter Sanaya! I adore them as Arhi, a beautiful couple who are as different as chalk and cheese and yet their fell in love despite the odds! I could relate more to Arnav culturally because I myself am a very strong minded professional woman and could never see myself as Khushi! Notwithstanding I found myself understanding and loving her and rooting for her to develop into a strong woman yet retaining her core values!

Having said that and also having some 30 years of corporate and HR experience I can indeed relate to the fact that Barun did what any professional career minded person would do .. assuming that the rumors are correct and he does have a new movie deal! You are so correct and no one speaks about a new or potential job until they are ready to start that job! Barun said what is in fact the truth and all that the public is entitled to know ... he is taking a leave, not sure how long! No lies there! Fact that the show ended since he could not commit to a return date due to his career choices is in fact a tribute to the man himself and the respect that SP as for him! One show ends and another will start that's SHOW BUSINESS!

This man is entitled to live his life on his terms! He does not owe anyone anything except for his immediate family! I appreciate the fact that as an actor he delivered on what my expectations were from him and I look forward to future shows or movies with him!

I too love IPKKND but for me IPKKND was Barun and Sanaya. If one left I also would have left and in essence the show would have ended for me! That's my choice because I do have a life that does not include television! Life as you know is very precious to me more so now that I have had to face my mortality!

I cannot understand the uproar nor did I see SP disrespecting Barun because by publicily advertising that they were ending the show because he left is in fact the biggest compliment they have given to an Indian television actor since I understand that this was never done before! Classic case of comprehension and each person reading the same thing and each understanding it differently. Granted SP could have ended the show in a more delicate manner but communication on this entire matter has been very poor and this was obviously no exception!

The folks who should be upset are the remaining cast and crew and they are sad but not devastated because "that's show business!" This nonsense about 200 people losing their jobs just snowballed because everyone is looking to blame someone because of the media hype with the fans demanding accountability from the PH and SP for the endless rumors over a span of several months alongside sub standard scripts. The level of Fans holding the PH and Channel accountable is new to Indian television so yes the PH and SP got caught by surprise and they DID NOT HANDLE THE PR well. Interviews, SPL etc were schedule without factoring the fan outrage but that cannot be placed at Barun's feet!

The only one responsible for job losses is the PH! They are the employers and they were the ones who checked out of this show some months ago! After all this is the same PH that said the show had "run it's course!" What the heck did that mean for their employees? If any one of us were one of their employees what would we do? I would secure my self by looking for a new job!

The fact that Barun was open with his employers and friends about his decisions is the reason why they cannot fault him. He was also not the only one who "LEFT" let's look at the directors who left,the writers who left and the actors who left before him! Did anyone blame those folks? Again this is show business and that's what it's about!

I also think that Sanaya has to be careful in what she says in public because her cult following takes everything literally. She has and will always be an emotional person, her own admission, and in her profession she must learn diplomacy! Same applies to Barun! Anyone with any common sense knew that this show ended long before SP announcement and that includes Sanaya. Not because of Barun but because of weak storylines and the ever turning exiting doors of the major players like the writers and directors! Let's not forget that LM only came back initially to wrap up the wedding! Translated to mean wrap up the show based on the timing of Forum 32 and the new release of the new show on Zee! I have no doubts that this show ended after that wedding!

Obsession is never healthy and for those who feel they cannot get on with life or who are traumatized by the show ending or Barun leaving, please get your frustrations out in a gym or seek medical help! Admit that you have a problem and please stop writing posts that just confirms your obsession and irrational behaviour!

So yes "Go Barun Go" the people who appreciate good cinema and tv understand and wish you well! We know that we will see you around in due course!
