REALITY CHECK - Wake up and smell the coffee!!

I have attempted to create this topic many times over the past week and have discarded it each time because I didn't want to add to the drama that has exploded over the forum, but I think there are some things that need to be said...
I'm not trying to criticize anyone for their views, so please don't take it that way... All I want to say is
STOP
BEING
SO
NAIVE
The show didn't end because Barun left
The show didn't end because fans couldn't accept a new lead
The show didn't end because the fans called for it's ending
THE SHOW ENDED BECAUSE THE PH DIDN'T WANT TO CONTINUE IT!!
Exhibit 1: The PH itself indicated that there was not story left to tell once the leads were married (rather unimaginative of them isn't it?)
Exhibit 2: 3 supporting actors left because their characters were being sidelined
Exhibit 3: Slow decline of the show since the kidnapping track and accelerated decline after the remarriage track. Only the actors held the show together until the remarriage track, but after that the cracks began to show. Unoriginal and uninteresting tracks that were hurriedly handled. Sloppy dialogues. Unreasonable character arcs. Repetitive wardrobe. You can clearly see that the PH gave up for some reason.
Exhibit 4: Male lead decided to take a break from the show with an unspecified start date and duration. His story has been consistent since the beginning.
Exhibit 5: The VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER IN WHICH THIS SITUATION WAS HANDLED BY THE PH. Rather than taking responsibility for their decisions (for good or bad) they have decided to blame everyone, but themselves.
I will not explore conspiracy theories here, but I am not far off the mark in saying that the PH is responsible for the end of the show. Any logical person can see that the facts just don't add up. I will not rehash what other posters have said much better, but what I do want to say is that stop blaming yourself. If you are one of those people who wanted the show to end, hats off to you because you had the clarity and courage to see what the PH didn't - that if you cannot do something with all your heart, you should end it.
For all those people who are saying that Barun's or fans' actions have resulted in 200 people losing their jobs, please try and look at the big picture. Neither Barun quitting nor fans demanding the end of the show would have made a difference, HAD THE PH NOT ALREADY DECIDED TO END THE SHOW! Many shows go through changes in leads, but the shows continue because the creators wants them to.
Rather than blaming each other or Barun, let us look at the situation for what it is so that we're not taken for naive fools... 😊

I agree with what you have said, coz it makes a LOT of sense! We are blaming ourselves for telling SP that we dont want ASR's death and a widowed unhappy Khushi, or Khushi having to accept another man!
ALL we said was to give the ARSHI love story a happy ending!! No one told SP to end the show in 1 week!
The PH had lost interest months ago, and their tactics of not developing sub plots, so that supporting cast leave, and then coming on Forum 32 and openly claiming that the "Story Has run it's course", was what got this mess started in the first place!
The PH themselves LEAKED the info of Barun's notice to IF, then they stood by the online journalist while their LEAD claimed that he is NOT leaving the show! This incident alone was enough to show that the PH was not standing by their lead, and was trying to burn him!
I think a LOT of politics was happening behind the scenes! An actor quitting to persue movies does NOT end a show! Especially when the said actor had worked on a movie and the show at once 6 months ago and possibly could have done the same again! OR since the show was due to end in Feb 2013, he could have stuck around till then! The reason he didnt, was coz he had fallen out with the PH! Even Akshay and Deepali could have stayed till Feb 2013! But they didnt! One wonders why?
SP axed the show coz they ended up falling out with the PH! Their decision to pull ARJUN in Jan 2013, is further testimont to that! I think SP was angry at the unproffesional conduct of the PH! Coz everyone ringing them or e-mailing had a common complaint! The PH! So I guess SP realized that people were seeing a genuine issue!
Therefore, even though I am sorry the show ended, and yes a lot of people feel responsible coz they asked for an ARSHI ending to the show, and not to kill ASR! But I dont think the audience SINCERE love for this story is what killed it! It was the PH's lack of investement in it in the last few months! When you compare Nov 2011 to Nov 2012, there IS no comparison! 4 Lions are good at starting something and they are VERY good at concepts and creating memorable charachters! However, they are NOT good at maintaining something long term! THIS is their failing and this is what gets fans bashing them!!
I feel for Sanaya and the rest of the cast and crew! Really do! But I dont think the FANS are the reason the show shut down! It was the PH and SP falling out!

Exactly my sentiments. The PH decided to end the show and hence the show is going off-air. It is solely because of PH's lack of interest the show declined and eventually is going to go off-air. Blaming barun or fans is not going to help. These lines are top-notch. Agree word to word on them.

The VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MANNER IN WHICH THIS SITUATION WAS HANDLED BY THE PH. Rather than taking responsibility for their decisions (for good or bad) they have decided to blame everyone, but themselves."

👍🏼...completely agree with u...its PH who wants to end the show ..they even gave us a open letter that the story has run out its course...so its Ph who already has lost their interest from our show...

so its neither for barun nor for the viewers ..the show has come to an end...

in the end all of us lost from star to fans and all of the people involved were to be blamed a little but the biggest share goes to star cvs as they had the control in their hands as they and only they can can close show down no barun no fans no ph have say in the matter in their business decision last call was theirs and they did a pathetic job without even giving a try to revive and put blame on barun .
i dont know how it will effect his carrer but rt now i hope he gets his break and comes bk with a bang

even if barun doesnot hv movie rt now and signs a movie or show after today he will be blamed for it unfortunately and barun i think knew what was coming thats why he said " will see how many fans he has left after the show" but he is blessed and our good wishes with him always

👍🏼 Way to go dear...

Just to share, last night, at work place we had a war like situation giving marathon live demo to our client. Everything we planned was denied. Rather the customer had their own scenarios which they wanted to see... Everything on go; we fighting, co-ordinating, delivering like hell to protect our product...😊 And that too when team was spread across 5 different locations globally. But we not only managed but received customer confidence in us, our product & appreciation for the team work...

At the end had a hearty laugh!!

Guess, the IPK employers/makers/channel not only make fiction but also work fictionally... Professionalism has not been shown till date in this mess...

Hey I agree with u UPTO certain extent but don't u think There are two sides TI the coin...
U say it's all becoz of the PH, so the channel has no say in the fact that the show ended..what do u know of the off screen facts? Many stated earlier that other actor's have a problem with the PH, then what are they doing in the last day shoot pics when they had already left...

No I am not saying tht at any point the actor is to be blamed, of course not and I have stated that in many of my posts.,,,

But blaming one party is UNFAIR and UNJUST be it the actors, the Channel or the PH, rest time will tell..stay calm and sane, peace out.

Nishi, see that is one thing that I am really not liking it here. Show is done deal now. So can the PH and the channel be man enough and come forward with the correct press statements. Both of them hiding behind one actor and throwing him under the bus is not doing anyone any good. I for one don't believe that a channel pulled the plug because of fans outcry. The channel and PH both are making mockery of the audience and feeding their ego saying that we followed your demands when in reality both are looking out for themselves. That is the plain and simple truth. And the strangest thing is I didn't see the PH issuing any official statement over the show closure. Whatever it is, the whole show closing fiasco has left a very bad taste in viewers mind and for that both channel and PH share equal amount of blame. I don't know if we will know the truth eventually but I hope someone(read PH/Channel) have guts enough to come forward and issue the correct reasons for the show's closure.

whatever the truth is,it is loud and clear that the actor is being blamed alone, when all these three parties are equally involved in this fiasco..this post was not meant to whitewash actors deeds, but to simply state that,he is not the only one to be blamed...
