well only thiing i found objectionable in you r post dear...when you yourself hv stopped watching the show few months ago..

then why are you thinking that this show had done good while continuing...

and you said that ipk fell aftr july..

then after his exit it will regain???

ps- i could hv tolerated his exit as i was watching that was coming in ipk..so even if barun quit..it would hv been nice to see sanya going through all turmoils...

but though i would hv missed him a lot

What a lovely lovely post...first Sanaya's SBS iv and now this post...I am all tearful once again...

I would have loved to see Khushi's journey henceforth

It was stated that the new guy would be responsible for ASR's death..I would have loved too see Khushi fighting to avenge her husband' death..I would have loved to see Khushi taking AS fashion to the epitome of glory ..I would have loved to see her character growing amidst all the hardships of life and coming out victorious.

I just dont understand the hypocrisy when people says that they cant see any new man in Khushi's life ...But my question is why it is always presumed that the new man would be her lover..it could have been a friend, a business partner or an enemy...

I couldn't have digested Khushi falling in love the next day but I would have loved to see her move on in life...I am very very fond of Khushi's character ..to me she is like a friend I know...a sister I have..so I would always be eager to see new happiness blooming in her life..looking forward to your story with Khushi and Viraf ( well we never knew what this character was supposed to be called)

nice post arti...i understand your frustration...iam in the same state as you...sometimes what khushi said is right"sapno ke duniya mein rehena hi baither hai" in real life we get only hurt...

what you told was right...may be people dint love sanaya thats why its like barun is leaving and the show is ending...

i will defenitely continue to read you stories...

it will be there on the blog too right??

we had a life with ipkknd and now that its ending we have to learn to live without it...its difficult but not impossible...

i had 70% forgotten that there is a life outside ipkknd...i am getting reality checks now...

its a big lesson to all that "never have any emotional attachment to any damn fiction show"

I will tell u a secret now...i was ur fan even befor being bash mates... 😆 ...i always read ur posts be it...sarcastic...bashing...serious...or ur stories...i feel life in them...i felt a TRUE FAN of this show in all ur posts...i m glad u will update ur works...even now...
One more secret...1st ever story which ever make me cry like hell is ur story with that arshi vm in bg...where u portrayed khushis feelings...beautifully...i swear i cried almost 10 mnts after reading it...nd was having heavy heart through out that day...
After being bashing mates i understood how wonderful as person u r...i wish u very happy n colourful future...i even expect all ur dreamz comes true...including meeting a special person...on ur air trip...most likely when u return to US...after this veccation...(like u written in one of ur os) 😃 ...
I will catch u up in our cc...but for now after reading this post i cant help but write this...

- We will never know what happened to Laxmi, Mamaji, and Masala Mama. We will never see Shashi walk again. We will not see NK find love.. or find out what will happen to NK-Buaji's love story.. We will not see Anjali find love.. or Mami shower her love on Khushi!
- We will never know what happened between Garima and Arnav's father.
- We will never ever see Arnav or Khushi mature as a married couple.
- We will never see them share their passionate love for each other.. or see them have kids.. we will never see them grow old.
We will see nothing.. that's what we get after loving this show for so long. Nothing!

I don't want to blame anyone, nor do I want to hear any blame or name-calling on this thread. I might be wrong, but in my eyes, Barun's leaving caused the uproar which resulted in the end of the show.. the channel and production house tried to give it a chance, by bringing in Viraf but Barun and Sarun fans didn't want the show to happen without Barun.. and in the end, fans of the show and everyone working on this show ended up with no show!

Bang on there sista!? All the points you've made. So sad! Wait no... sad doesn't even come close...

Yours is best post, I have read in a longgg time. I am not joking seriously but that is the truth. I have always been a SI fan more than BS fan. The reason is offcourse, I didn't like BS character inBHPH, nor I was a fan of the jodi either. But MJHT was a brilliant show, and I loved SI who had so flawlessly played Gunjan, that is exactly opposite of real life persona. I sometimes even felt that SI's individual career graph actually went down after taking up this show. B/c I like her character more in MJHT, as she had more to explore and wasn't shown as a clown in every other episode. I have to say, even though it hurts to say this, that Gunjan's character was sketched far more in depth than Khushi's. I loved Sarun as a Jodi, but I hate how they have shown Khushi's character in the show. I would somewhat disagree w/ the statement that Barun overshadowed Sanaya. If SI's character had been stronger and well thought out, then Sanaya may have even won awards, and she wouldn't always be remembered just for her pairing w/ Barun in the show. So, yes I do think that Sanaya may have deserved somewhat equal respect for her individual character and wouldn't have been overshadowed by Barun's character so much. I blame the writers and the PH. They had tons of opportunities to explore her character in the beginning, as a matter of fact everyone's characters in the show. This show could have been so much more. B/c it had a cast full of brilliant actors, whose off screen friendship had so much chemistry, that they could have made this show to the top, if writers wanted to. I also agree that IPKKND didn't have a storyline at all, or atleast a well thought out one. It wasn't also the best show across the channels or on Star Plus for that matter, and one could clearly see it with TRP's. Yes, it had THE BEST JODI, but never the best storyline, or the best show. Also, I often used to compare this show w/ KYPH, if you have heard or seen Angad and Kripa jodi. I would have loved to see a story like that in the future, and when IPKKND came out, I was thrilled w/ the tagline of "Nafrat Paas Aane na De, Mohabbat Door Jaane Na De". It reminded me so much of KYPH, as that show followed this tagline much more brilliantly, and it was a well thought out story by Ekta. I applaud her for that. Gul just managed to create ASR and Khushi, but she never managed to create a good storyline with such an awesome tagline.

I have regrets for Barun and Sanaya both, b/c this show could have been much more w/ a brilliant story and more in depth characters that the writers should have thought about b/4 even the show got started. I personally believe on an individual career front, Barun had a lot more to gain than Sanaya. As, a JODI they will be remembered, but in terms of the actors personal growth Barun has clearly overshadowed Sanaya. I am not that much of a crazy fan and have never been of any of the jodis. Yes, I loved their chemistry onscreen and offscreen, but to me they weren't an addiction. To be addicted, the show has to have much more than just a JODI. So, I am neither happy nor sad, that it is getting over. I am 21 too, but am not obsessed them. I have much more in my life to worry about rather than saving a FICTION show, which to be honest hadn't been going anywhere in a long time now. I was fine w. Barun leaving, Viraf entering, and even for the show to continue. But, as they say popularity is a disguise, as in it is a curse for the rest of the cast, if the JODI is more popular than the show, which is absolutely a true statement!

I respect the cast and crew equally. I would just like for SI to demand much more from her character when she signs up another show. I hope she gets what she deserves. I pray for the rest of the cast too. I have never believed any of the news or rumors, that been going around the forum now for a long time, except of the show ending lol! I wish Barun and SI both success and happiness, and pray that they don't ever get such a over obsessive crazy fan base lol...Brillaint post.:)
