@Meher- Touche! I bet not one single petition would have been made to stop Sanaya if it was her leaving instead.

so somewhere down the line everyone believed that Sanaya wouldnt even do such a thing...

NB Ji,

I have been following your posts with great interest last few days and by & large agreed with your views. I hadn't commented earlier though, as I was feeling quite melancholy at the show ending, and really didn't have the energy to participate in the spirited battles raging on the forum 😊

I am battling with a weird sense of loss which I am trying in vain to keep at bay. I keep telling myself, why feel this way when the tracks for past few months were only patchily good. When I quite actively cribbed in threads on the forum, about the "Arnav's lack of real redemption" and the "carefree college dude memories with Sheetal" tracks especially...But Dil (and yes, Dimaag too), somehow were still so caught up with this serial. Its going to take me quite some time to get over this..😊 So forgive me if this post is long and rambling as I need to get some of this angst out of my system..

The learning I hope all of us get out of this is that while feedback, and freedom of speech & expression are necessary and great, it needs to be exercised responsibly. Calling non stop and blasting CC employees is just so plain cruel, it gives both the call operator and the caller a headache and it all looks so plain futile now.

I am not denying fan's right to protest, after all we have all been vocal on the forum criticizing certain tracks in the past. But constructive criticism ought to be different from harassment. Not to mention, that the avalanche of calls made it convenient for the powers that be, who most probably had agendas of their own, to kill the show we all loved...

Mind you, I had no problem with people feeling that they could not imagine another actor as ASR, I kind of felt the same. Only, I would exercised my view by probably ceasing to watch episodes live and perhaps catching the written updates or chatter on the forum to get a sense of how the new entry was doing. And then,perhaps, if the buzz was strong, I just might have started watching live again...

But anyway, I don't want to keep adding to the flames. What's done is done, and now its just overwhelming sadness that it had to come to this.

Just one request to all, can't we now just bury these differences and bid goodbye to the show which, after all, brought us to this same platform? Something that gave us so much joy, fun, poignant moments, amazing chemistry between the leads (in fact it was so strong it could have powered a nuclear reactor--so maybe it was physics and chemistry combined 😊), and even in its weak and inconsistent moments, made us feel enough for it, to passionately discuss and rehash endlessly on the forum?

And frankly, can't we Wish all the cast the very best for their future endeavors, wherever these may lie? I definitely would want to see Sanaya in some really good serial sometime soon, whoever she stars opposite. Karan Goddwani, too...and if were were to dig into the good memories of the past, I do want to see Sana Khan again soon (maybe in a serial with Sanaya as her BFF?)

And I do wish Barun all the very best for his movie--why should we hold that against him, guys? He made a career choice to move on and try for Bollywood. Maybe he wasn't too frank about it, but frankly, in any field, when people resign to move on to a new job, they are typically cagey about where and when they are going. It is quite unusual for an employee quitting to trumpet the full details of his new job from the rooftops--the fear could be that the present employer might put a spanner in the works? Many a slip between the cup and the lip, after all...

I do sincerely hope we can all find it in us to just patch up, give a fond (if bittersweet) goodbye to the show, and move on...

i saw the SBS segment were Viraf was shown n to be honest his get-up didnt looked ASR.
He was wearing a black sleek trousers or jeans a grey shirt with black vest n pointed shoes...
it was more hip n sure than Arnav's aristocratic look(or wat remained of it).
n generally if an actor changes character's dressing style is not changed.
Viraf looked new, fresh n someone making a different kind of entry.

my source tells she was reading a newspaper...n as she says she is a lil short tempered someone asked if theres a sports section so she PUT DOWN her paper an said "Here take my paper" n went out bhai...

a show where an actor got such popularity,and the end was nearing with that still in mind the actor decided to quit for a longishhh break ...needed to spend time with wife according to guls interview...

show spl was huge hit nad next day baam show ending in 5 days...

now news is also out don't know how true it is that barun will be doing a movie for ekta...

now actors is blaming fans...

fans are stunned with the new movie project ...but unhappy for actors

in this story we were all used in a certain way thats for sure...

The bold one I agree!! Used emotionally beside time. Day by Day the whole truth and reason of the Fiasco is clearing up and still the blame game is going on. To say the bitter fact every one and I will emphasise "every one", including the viewers were responsible for the slow closing and people loosing their job! Some played the big games, some became mere pawn of the big game, but ultimately no one did win! But of course some one did - This sure time will tell!

One thing I am happy that even though I believed the conspiracy theory, I never mis-behaved with the Star-plus executive, they were polite and so was I despite being firm and thankfully I mistakenly never asked the show to close! I am happy that I didn't take such drastic step.
