I think anyone who has common sense can figure who is the guilty party here and make out that something is fishy behind all this.

This is the final nail in coffin for SP credibility and they themselves did this. What an attitude guys.👏 Should I laugh on your business acumen, or pity you at your situation and for being suicidal or be angry at you for using your own employee as scapegoat to meet your ends...

What a perfect example you have set for showing us what is called being inhumane, of being stupid, of being pathetic, and of proving that you are not the leading channel but just a namesake!!

This is another example set by a leading corporation, for me, where they want to deny that problem exists within senior management, their business model and practices.

Maintaining integrity is not that difficult, just walk the talk and follow what you preach.. Accepting mistake and making amends is all that it needs.

But Priya... didn't SP sign a fresh contract with Barun?? Weren't we thinking that BS is their golden boy?? Whatever happened to that???...Here we all were expecting them to start a new series with Sanaya and Barun, while they just chose to blame everything on the actor and shirk their hands of this whole mess... This is highly cheap... almost like an intentional step to tarnish his image... why would they do it??? What are they getting out of it??

guys, there is a Channel Moderator here now from Star Plus ..called Resham ..read a post about her the other day ...
does that mean she filters Channel-bashing posts and gets them closed ?
or she is the link between IF and SP ?

posted this in Indi di's thread..just thought of sharing it here too.. few lines from "wings of fire"..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By 1979 -- I think the month was August -- we thought we were ready. As the project director, I went to the control center for the launch. At four minutes before the satellite launch, the computer began to go through the checklist of items that needed to be checked. One minute later, the computer program put the launch on hold; the display showed that some control components were not in order. My experts -- I had four or five of them with me -- told me not to worry; they had done their calculations and there was enough reserve fuel. So I bypassed the computer, switched to manual mode, and launched the rocket. In the first stage, everything worked fine. In the second stage, a problem developed. Instead of the satellite going into orbit, the whole rocket system plunged into the Bay of Bengal. It was a big failure.

That day, the chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization, Prof. Satish Dhawan, had called a press conference. The launch was at 7:00 am, and the press conference -- where journalists from around the world were present -- was at 7:45 am at ISRO's satellite launch range in Sriharikota [in Andhra Pradesh in southern India]. Prof. Dhawan, the leader of the organization, conducted the press conference himself. He took responsibility for the failure -- he said that the team had worked very hard, but that it needed more technological support. He assured the media that in another year, the team would definitely succeed. Now, I was the project director, and it was my failure, but instead, he took responsibility for the failure as chairman of the organization.

The next year, in July 1980, we tried again to launch the satellite -- and this time we succeeded. The whole nation was jubilant. Again, there was a press conference. Prof. Dhawan called me aside and told me, "You conduct the press conference today."

I learned a very important lesson that day. When failure occurred, the leader of the organization owned that failure. When success came, he gave it to his team. The best management lesson I have learned did not come to me from reading a book; it came from that experience.

What a pathetic state of affairs when a channel that has been claiming for the past month that the show will go on despite Barun "quitting for movies" makes a disclaimer on screen last minute saying that they cannot continue a show because the lead has quit.
What SP has grossly miscalculated is the intelligence of the audience watching IPK. First off there aren't too many left watching the show coz of all the crap tracks and the ones still watching are well aware of the off-screen drama..
I just spoke to my cousin and aunt in India both of whom watch the show. My cousin was super excited that Barun has a movie offer coz she thinks IPK is now crap anyways😉
Secondly my aunt was upset coz she is a big fan of the show but she said Barun has managed to do what no SP lead who has left so far could do so that should be a big complement to his acting talent ans popularity..
So i guess not everyone will take the disclaimer negatively despite the pathetic attempt by SP to save its sorry ass😡

Yes it is indeed one of the best management lessons...

SP and production house is seriously lacking this. Quoting my opinion on this from one of my earlier posts. This was for production house that time. But I believe this extends to star plus also. More than production house -

If my understanding is correct, you are the makers of this show. So you are the leader of the team. Now first golden rule, If your team does good work and excels/outperforms, appreciate and give credit to the team!!! But more important, if some problem/crisis happens, be the first one to take control and own up responsibility for the situation.

Such a lame excuse by SP. Wasnt BS serving his notice period from a month or so? Or SP gave the liberty to Barun to walk out of the show within 4 days of his notice n decided to end the show? The viewers are taken for granted here. What a way to ruin the 1.5 years of the attachment with the show?
Absolutely disgusting attitude of the channel!

That is so true Deeps... and I just fail to understand why would SP wanna burn bridges with the actor by defaming him like this... wouldn't they wanna keep good terms with him.. even if he is leaving for movies... its not a crime... by putting that disclaimer I think they are just putting more oil in the fire..
