A genuine question..

But before that a few disclaimers

- I am not a 4Lions fan.. IPKKND was my first show ever and then got to know about 4Lions

- They are not paying me for writing this post

- I haven't applied for a job @ 4Lions..

and lot of such disclaimers..

Do you really hate 4Lions?

They are the ones who decided to bring this whole story to us.

They took the risk with Barun (if you have seen his screen test and heard the comment - you will know)

They are the ones who brought ASR to life

They are the ones who brought LM for this show

They believed enough in it - that we all fell head-over-heels in love with ARSHI..

Yes - Things didn't go well towards the end..

Yes - some decisions went wrong..

But does it mean you will hate 4Lions?

I think they tried to be in touch with the fans..

They made attempts to listen to us

They made amends in various ways.. bringing LM back, making Daljeet stay..

Hate is a very strong expression..

I am sure they are a brilliant bunch of creatives - who failed @ the last mile..

But that doesn't make them a bad PH..

I think - if we are so powerful as fans, we should also be responsible fans..

Lets not write everywhere that we HATE PH or SP.. I think we wouldn't have experienced IPKKND - had it not been for the PH or SP..

Hate is too strong an emotion to describe my feelings for 4lions.

I appreciate the show they gave me till Feb 2012 and I gave them due credit for it.

The tracks after that were mostly half-baked.There were moments of brilliance...yes,but the tracks after marriage were like step-children as compared to the tracks upto the Payash wedding.

Gul Khan is absolutely brilliant at what she loves doing...creating fantastic love stories which people relate to on every level.She must stick to that and leave the mundane administrative and PR jobs to the others😃

I won't say tht i hate them but I'd like to say one thing tht the main reason of this whole thing is PH and Barun's incompatibility on this. they failed to work out a middle path. I'm not blaming anyone here so, no offence!!!

Star Plus has the history of running shows for years . If other shows can run then why not a hit show like IPK and incase of IPK initial problem started frm Barun's movie break. Its not wrong to be ambitious but Barun's reluctance to continue in the show and Fans demand to see only Sarun in lead resulted in this abrupt ending. SP was forced to take this decision as well as PH.

I work as Project Manager. Hence, we grade success in two ways. One is achieving the end result and the other is to ensure the journey is just as successful. We can''t have schedules and budgets all over the place with safety issues and then say but we made it 5 years too late.

So, while 4Lions manages to conceptualize real well, their delivery seems short on execution. Plus the ongoing debacle of PR issues surrounding 4Lions forever is quite reckless. Gul Khan and one other of the 4Lions group has a mass communications degree. They should have been better prepared for this.

Years ago, I had watched Shaheen of Gul Khans. It was supposed to be a 6 month drama and they lasted as long. But, the story and execution just faltered after 2-3 months. Evidently, same thing happened on Geet, though I have not watched it.

For me, I don't invest this kind of time in anything especially Indian dramas. But, I enjoyed IPKKND while it was here. I wonder where the credit really lies though.

Yeah.. the execution became bad..and they lost the grip on the show..

And yes - they are to blame for it..

But I think us fans also became very demanding and they just couldn't balance the creatity with the demands - I guess..

We interfered too.. and they let us interfere.. and the result.. part good - part sad..

This was a phenomenon for us and for them !

Yes I agree with what you said. Gul or whoever - should focus on their strength and bring the right people for execution.. and glad to know that you have that balanced view.

It must hurt the makers that they don't get any credit - instead only get hate.. right?

not hate but very dissappointed

they had given me all what U mentioned but also took it away with crappy plots, they butchered Asr n khushis characters and openly expressed they boredom with the show

I dont hate 4 Lions, and yes i supported the end of the show with Barun and Sanaya as Arnav and Khushi.

4 Lions is a good production house, and they come up shows that are young and hep.they dont have the usual saas bahu drama. and it's always about young people

IPKKND was a beautiful love story. of two young people poles apart who find each other by mistake, cant stand eachother yet are brawn to eachother powerfully. who swore they would not see each other face. but seeing that one face made the world seem right. Arnav and Khushi brought romance to are drawing rooms and made us feel warm and fuzzy and in love. and 4 lions did this for us and i thank them.

But Arnav without Barun is unthinkable, Barun bacame a part of our lives through Arnav and to see someone else in his place is undigestable. maybe the new actor could have done justice to the role, but we who have lived with barun/Aranv for the past 1 1/2 year would have always found him wanting. Barun as ASR has set such a high standard for the character in every espect the few can reach that essence that is ASR. no one has could have emulated that Stillness in anger, or the eyes that spoke a thousand words while the lips were sealed.

4 lions gave us ASR, and i love them for that. they gave us Barun and the refined him into a briliant actor. i wish and pray that Barun makes it in the movie buisness and we all know that is not easy. but he deservs a chance to try. and i wish him all the luck.

4 Lions, inspired us, after IPK and Arnav and Khushi, 4 Lions gave us wings. that inspired hundreds of us to write, thousands of amature writes were born, telling and retelling the romance of Arnav and Khushi in the form of Fan Fictions and Short stories. and i as a reader who has a collection of 800 books found many of them worthy of being pirnted and sold in the millions.and i would bye them and add to my precious collection.

but all good things come to an end. and now it is IPK turn, maybe a little to soon for our likeing but i think it is always prudent to let go when you are at the top of the world cause then you fly forever. just like IPK will live in our hearts forever and the love story of Arnav and Khushi will still be retold over and over in the form of FF.

so thank you and love you 4 Lions. and we hope you would some day bring back the team of Barun and Sanaya and the whole cast and crew to tell us another beautifel story the this wonderfull pair once again.

But to some extent I think show running for many years don't work well all the time right..that has to change too. i think.. I mean it will always be tough to expect the talented and ambitious actors to committ to endless soaps right? Especially when they are the leads and the schedules become so consuming..that they can't do anything else at all

I have no history - whatsoever with the PH.. and I don't this any will be created after IPKKND..

But yeah.. the project management - and keeping all the pieces moving in unison.. is the key to success..

At the same time - creating a phenomenon.. and handling it well - is not an easy task and they didn't prove themselves there.. unfortunately..

But yeah.. we all enjoyed IPKKND and will continue to cherish it - forever !!! 😳
