Point is - All of us lost out on a show that kept us entertained. Many of us who stopped watching or those who had never seen the show or hated the show were now willing to watch the show because of the new entry and the scope it could have brought to the show. Something new. We were all willing to stay on till it was taken to its proper logical end. To us it was the characters and story and not the actor, the actor only helped bring the character to life.
