yes if thy had shown arnav khushi's tussle over their past v would actually get love hate relation of arnav khushi which is d tagline of the show .. also barun wouldnt have left as der would be a lot to show til thy would actually get married..barun actually felt his need is over in d show as der was nostory to tell.. if thy had shown their hatred part der would still be a stong story nd barun would ve felt like staying.. m sure

That was the plan I guess but re-marriage happened only coz Barun handed over his papers..and they needed to end the story they strtd !!
