Yup been a Barun fan for the past 3 years, only started ipk because of him. The forum was pretty normal in the beginning of the show but over time it got scary and that's when I left only to visit to read WUs. Been a Viraf fan since Mahi Way, his acting was awesome in Kismet though.

I just ended up here because it seemed chilled out. I thought bashers was the name given to you guys by others even though you are also Barun/ASR/Arhi fans. I am like you guys, I don't care if someone is a favourite of mine, I will criticize them if they give me reason to when they are not up to the mark. I am just not blind. Neither am I a bandwagoner.

so seems like doris have turned into VPP ATs? ok, i must admit the dude is hot, Hot, HOT. and, a fairly decent actor to boot.

now, regarding BS, i always found him absolutely cringe worthy until IPKKND. he has conventional looks and has way too slender a physique to be considered a hunk. but, to me, what makes him beyond attractive (yes, even more than the beefcakes' pics y'all have been posting) are his eyes - he really is able to express every single emotion through those gorgeous eyes. very few peoples' eyes are such transparent windows to their souls. and his eyes are what make BS both attractive and an amazing actor.

now i wouldn't mind watching VPP onscreen but i don't think he's capable of emoting on par with BS at his best (that is, when BS feels like emoting, lately he's been very hit and miss).

regarding the story, i don't want VPP to play ASR. that role should end with BS. even in her interview, SI said that nobody else should play ASR. but, making VPP a new character and love interest for KKGSR would butcher the story even further. so, I'm all for VPP's character to be a love interest for Anjali or for the story taking a generation leap and VPP being the love interest for Arshi's daughter, played by SI.

I never found Barun cringe-worthy even before ipk I liked him a lot and in fact prefer him in lighter roles since he is better at those. Although he has also played a villain too. So yeah I have been a fan for a long time. For me ipk is just something else he did.

I will disagree with one thing. I think VPP is a better and more capable actor but just hasn't gotten enough chances. Kismet proved what he is capable of What VPP lacks he makes up more in other places same goes for Barun. I do agree that these days Barun has been hit and miss, he hasn't been giving it all which is very disappointing for me to see. To keep the story alive Viraf should just be a new character, and kill both Khushi and Arnav off, like Romeo and Juliet, like the Notebook, etc.

Anyways, most of us don't want VPP to be Anjali's love interest. But yes we all do feel that the show should take a generation leap, retain Sanaya as the daughter raised by the family this way Anjali will have her own story as the woman who raised her. Have a role reversal where the daughter is the spitting image of Khushi but the personality of ASR and then in comes Viraf and history repeats itself... well sort of.
