Have a meeting tomorrow with my advisor.. He will kick me out for sure.. I have had no updates the past few weeks.. I have just been plain lazy.. 😆 It's been difficult given everything that's been happening.. too distracting.. so the month in India is to concentrate on work.. change in scene so I can work better.. not a vacation 😭

Yeah sometimes it is hard to catch ASR's dialogues and one liners especially the English bits but we always ignore these things because of the Arhi chemistry. However, like you said, it's always when he is in the mood like these days he just doesn't seem to be into it. If he was into it, it will contribute to getting closure to the Arhi love story.

Exactly, if Barun just comes out and says that hey I am leaving for this many days and then I will return to play ASR we can all just chill out and I will be like okay that's fine I can deal with it. This is not the case though, he has no clue what he is doing. Sanaya on the other hand gave straight genuine answers and I appreciated that about her. I am sorely disappointed in Barun and now I just don't think I will be able to stand it if he randomly returns after a very long time and expects to be accepted back easily. Many shows have seen the leads leaving and being replaced or their stories being completely revamped yet they have continued to do well or better like in the beginning I think it is possible with ipk too if thought out carefully but the fans just aren't allowing it and I blame the fans for making the problem bigger than it should have been.

Give Arhi closure and start the story afresh with a season 2, it can be done, it has been done before with other shows.

yep, it's the sarun chemistry that made ipkknd the phenom it was. i've watched a lot of western/indian shows and movies, and i've never seen the kind of chemistry on screen as that of arhi. that's what hooked me to the show despite a less than stellar story and horrid production values (esp. after ~ the first six months). i think the unparalleled sarun chemistry has ruined all other romantic onscreen couples for me - none will ever sizzle on screen quite as much. and, that degree of intensity was lacking with both BS and SI's pairings in their previous serials. in the future, i think they find it difficult to achieve the kind of chemistry with anyone else that they did together.

yes, i too am quite disappointed with Barun's handling of this whole situation. he is going to lose many fans in the process. he can't just keep saying 'i don't know' like that. would have been better if he had never done any interviews or said 'no comment'. he knows exactly what he is doing, and it's about time (way too late in my opinion) to say what he is really up to if he wants to hold on to his fandom.

i agree, they need to end right now with Barun and then perhaps start a season 2 or a new serial/story with SI/Viraf.
