Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon: Why did Barun Sobti quit the show?

After winning the ITA (Indian Television Academy) award for the best actor and winning numerous trophies at the Star Parivaar Awards 2012 Barun Sobti has decided to quit Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. But why? Are those cliched 'creative differences' to be blamed? "I am planning to take a break. I am very happy with the production house, but have been thinking about taking a break for a very long time now to spend some time with my wife," Barun reveals. Really?
While Barun would like us to believe that the reason is THAT simple, sneaky birdies reveal the actor might be aiming for the bigger screen. We are also told that the chikna had taken a short break a while ago to shoot for a Bollywood movie ( Bappi Lahiri's Main Aur Mr Right, perhaps). Hmmm, so what's the truth, Barun?
Anyway, the actor refuses to speak up, so we let it be. But to accommodate his exit, we hear, the show will get Arnav Singh Raizada kidnapped (Wow! A genius twist, right?). And then, emerging as the new Arnav will be actor Viraf Phiroz (of Mahi Way and Kismat fame). But guess what – even Phiroz refuses to share any juicy details! "I cannot talk right now. There are a few things in the pipeline but I can only talk about it post Diwali. People who are taking the decisions are on leave." Ahem ahem.
