I would agree with you if timing wasn't this crusial.
I mean what were they doing all this time, why only now?
Why did they let Barun face everything alone if they had very good relation with eachother.
Why didn't they say anything earlier, why only now?
Seems to me it's Gul saving from the blame move using Barun that's all.
Earlier I blamed everyone equally.
Now I can see what's going on...
Gul didn't care about things earlier, but only when it's about her...She came up with this with Barun that too after fans annoyed SP big time.

I saw the interview teaser. The purpose seems two fold. First showing Gul with Barun seemingly all friendly, is to show Gul in a positive light. Secondly, the way Barun was talking about his memories from the show seemed to me like a goodbye interview. I don't know but this is the impression I got. So, basically, Barun leaving and this being the last goodbye interview for fans and with Gul to show that PH was not involved with his quitting.

Just my interpretation of the teaser. I may be wrong and I hope I am wrong about Barun saying goodbye. But lets wait and see.

No, you are not this is exactly what's going to happen, but you see timing is just too wrong.
They'll make sure that Barun will say I quit in this video that's the 2nd plan of this whole interview.
I knew it that they'll come up with someting like this, but not exactly Gul and his interview.
