Acc to me it's is a planed statement. I can't predict the source realy ,but i think i can guess.
-May b the producers of barun's new movie want this, as the viewers wil b keen to see him after a break.
May b barun him self don't want to continue due to ruining of asr character.
May b sp has planed it so that viewers stick to the show nd may be they get conected to the new story.
May b barun himself is confused nd is w8ng for his movie release ,if it becomes hit then leave, nd if not then he wil come back.
Seeing al these prediction the story can be like this.
Barun leaving, nd new character's entry.
He wil b interested in khusi, but khusi wil not think about him til 2 mnths.
If barun leaves the show for sure then they wil show the new entry as the lead, if the viewership wil b gud.
If the movie is not a hit then barun wil come back.
So basicaly it wil depend on barun's movie fate nd viewers.
