I have just tweeted Noreen khan about this and asked her to call barun and ask if he's leaving. She's our only hope atm.

Honestly u tell me...after watching how they are showing this epic character laltely ..

Do u even feel connected to the original despite of it bein depicted by the same person.

And actor has a right to nake the choice if tgey r not guven the opportunity to essay the sane role they were initially promised.

I dont know the insider but u woukd suggest barun leave before we c the character being further butchered.

I trust him. N he is not a person to shy away from commitment. But when things r out of control for him...then its better to stick with old image than to see the character that gave u fame n fortune be ruined right ibfront kf ur eyes n u bein a part of the massacre.

ok...I am going to give a benefit of doubt and say...BS is leaving coz he is not happy with how they have shaped his character n not bollywood ...

Now let's think practically...who is at a loss here?? Barun himself...

He lives in mumbai...a city where surival without steady income is almost impossible in today's age. He has a job dat gets him his bread n butter n that too with jello n icing wrapped in fame and status.

Now he wants to leave that for what?? A factor thats unknown...uncertain...

Agreed...ASR is no longer wat he used to be...but like he said in today's epi...he is a changed man n khushi brought that change. However still...I agree...writers have goofed up with his char here n there...but the story is still about him n his khushi...Unlike Akash...his char is not made into a prop. Barun still can report to a work where he has scenes to play unlike Akshay who prolly has to sit in his green room most of the day. Now Akshay leaving makes total sense...why wud someone go to work just to get bored n not be productive. But dats not the case with Barun.

The show may or may not go on without him...but he defo loses on his bread n butter the moment he steps out of that place...and then he walks on a thin line of hope that this grandeur will hit him again...and m sorry to say...there are thousands of people waiting to be his spot...

If as per wat u say...he is leaving just coz he is not happy with the char...then I will doubt his credibility n his capability of making sound judgement!!

I dont think anyone from SP, or PH is foolish enough not to understand this - they have been in business long enough.

So all these rumours about 'another entry' for Khushi etc etc is most likely a rumour.

One thing is 100% certain, in this world full of uncertainty, if Barun Sobti leaves, there is no IPKKND.

They will probably still air 'something' of the same name, same actors (without BS) and characters, PH, channel, time slot (vagairah vagairah ) - etc etc but it will not be IPKKND

I do have my sources...it is all Bull crap this is not the case...

If PH can give him 45 days of leave will they not know the impact he has on the show??

The PH changed tracks for Daljeet to stay they will do anything for Barun to stay..

Barun is looking for a career in Bollywood and there is no other reason here...

He is ducking from the fans, media by hiding the truth...

Tuesday is too far away. I think the fans need some kind of clarification right away as many sources have suggested Barun leaving. It's time to clear the air. I think it will be cruel to fans to make them wait til Tuesday. I'm hoping something official can come out tomorrow or Friday.

But I would like to add the exposure of TV is major this days... Indian TV is worldwide... from USA to Africa to Australia because Indian's live worldwide... I go through my sky box and I don't get Japanese or Korean channels but why do I get Indian channels? Says something doesn't it... And not just entertainment channels but news channels with ABP, NDTV and Aaj Tak.

Bread and Butter don't leave it, there is time to leave a show and for Akshay, Deepali even Daljeet it makes sense they are mostly sidelined but for Barun to be doing it I don't see it as a good move.

I am not saying when TV actors come in movies its great... everytime I had to watch RNBDJ (cause I didn't like it 😆) I watch it for the 2 minutes of Vivan in there, or KCK I watch the Vivan scenes 😆 and I love seeing a actor I know and love there but if you have a show and you leave it... It is such a huge risk.

My final point is Indian TV isn't like American TV show the actors don't get time off between seasons to take on new work and explore new fields, be it theatre or cinema which is unfair, maybe Indian TV needs to change the way it works not totally but why not have a few seasonal shows that last an hour for 20 to 24 weeks?

Akshay...deepali n daljeet leaving the show wud be justified...they have been made into props...n no one wud like to report to work to get bored out of their brains...n waste time ...But Barun n Sanaya are still very much active on the show...the show is about them n all has not been finished...

And thus I fail to understand this urge of tv actors to reach out for the uncertan n unknown ditching what they have...

Its that thot of "TV just being a mere TV" that riles all this i tell u... This perception of TV needs to change...so that people learn to appreciate what they have n stick to wat they are best at rather than becuming jack of all trades n master of none!!

As for ur suggestion...how I wish...*sigh*...Indian tv defo needs amendments in their format...so that actors can get their deserved n regular time off while giving them the opporutnity to explore other options!!
