Khushi quickly hid behind the curtains, shocked!

What just happened?

Did Sheetal just now look at Arnavji from behind her duppatta, called out to him to make him look at her, and then drink out of her---- HER jug of water that Khushi had kept near the table?

What does this mean? Does Sheetal think of Arnavji as her husband? Then Aarav IS Arnavji's son!!!!!

OMG! OMG!!!! Hey Devi Mayyia------- What--------?

Arnav's face swam in her front of her eyes-----the way Aarav so resembles him----the way everyone said how alike they both are to each other----- the way Aarav waned to meet with his father and had gone to that caf, resulting in his fainting------- the way Arnavji had danced with her near the poolside to make her forget her hunger pangs, to the music in their hearts-------- Arnavji--------Arnavji------

And the next moment darkness engulfed her and she fell down with a thud on the floor of her bedroom, the last conscious thought in her mind of herself looking at Arnavji sitting in the drawing room, visible through the French windows and her arms raised as she unconsciously wanted him to look at her, to come and break her fall-----------

Khushi came to after sometime and groggily sat up, realizing that she was being supported by a pair of arms. She turned around to see that it was Payel who was supporting her head on her lap and disappointment filled her heart that it wasn't Arnavji doing so.

"Khushi what happened? Is it because of this fast? God! Khushi let me call Arnavji----."

"No, no, Jiji, let it be, he will get worried and see I am fine. I am fine really! Just watch," and saying so Khushi got up.

"Jiji, you go, iam coming."

Payel wanted to argue but something in Khushi's face stopped her.

"Fine! But come down quickly and have some food, Ok?"

"Yeah, sure I will come soon, just let me freshen up."

Payel walked off and Khushi stood rooted at her place as she remembered what had made her lose her consciousness.

A million questions swam in her mind.

"Khushi, I never loved Sheetal, she is my past, we never had any other relationship." She remembered Arnavji telling her this only a few days back and she knew her Arnavji never lied about anything.

So was it possible Sheetal was--------- no, no, why would a girl do something like what Sheetal had just done if there wasn't a strong reason and also there was Aarav to be considered. He was a walking, talking, spitting image of Arnavji.

Her head started to pound and she stood there holding on to her head with both her hands. Confused and determined to know the truth.

She had to talk with Sheetal and get to the root of the problem otherwise she couldn't rest and with a determined expression on her face she walked out of her room in search of Sheetal. Little did she know what was waiting for her.

Arnav excused himself and climbed the stairs. Confusion and anger evident in his expression.

He had instinctively looked at Sheetal when she had called out to him only to see her looking at him through her duppatta and then she had shook her head at him, as if to indicate that nothing was the matter and she had then drunk water from a jug...

it had been at that point that Khushi had fainted and Arnav had been so surprised and disturbed at what his brain seemed to have replayed to him again and again for the next few minutes that he had not payed any attention to the world around him.

It was actually nothing if he let it be but the nagging thought refused to leave his mind...What had he just seen Sheetal doing? Why had she screamed his name, looked at him through her duppatta and then ----------- no there must be a misunderstanding. He must have imagined it! Why would Sheetal do something like that? He might not like all these various rituals and customs that the women in his family insisted on following but he knew the basics of almost everyone of them, especially this one now as just a few moments ago Khushi had done the complete ritual of looking at the moon through her sheave, then looked at him and then drank water from his hands, breaking her day long fast. He knew that the moon was supposed to be looked at through something which had pores in it and then one is to look at her husband's face after that and then drink water to complete the fast.

Sheetal hadn't had her breakfast in the morning too------- she hadn't actually eaten anything in front of them. Arnav shook his head as if to dislodge the thoughts that seem to have started to circle in his head.

Khushi! God! What if she had seen Sheetal doing that! No way, he had to know what Sheetal was upto.

Arnav strode towards Sheetal's room, his fist clenched, he had to confront her!

"Damnit"
