I think it is totally his prerogative what he wants to do off screen. He loves his fans and keeps thanking them at evry opportunity that is good enough. He seems over worked and must be having other personal commitments too, hence awrd cermonies may be last priority for him! As it is ppl make loose talks about his wife and how he shud be married to Sanaya etc. His wife is not a public figure and he may not want to go alone, that is okay.
