Khushi walks into Sheetal's room. Sheetal is in the middle of folding clothes. Khushi knocks on the door. Sheetal looks at her and says, "Khushi, you'" Wow! Even Sheetal can read Khushi's face now! Khushi walks in and asks, "Sheetal ji, who is your husband?" Stunned Sheetal looks at her. Khushi continues, "Forgive me for asking you this question.. and most probably I have no right to ask you this question. But then, I need to know who your husband is!" Sheetal tries shrug her question of, "I don't understand what you'" and she turns around when Khushi grabs her and turns her around, "You cannot turn away and avoid answering my questions! And I am not Aarav,.. that you could lie to me! I need to know who your husband is? Today and right now!" ' I can't tell you!" Sheetal says. "You will have to tell me.. for my sake!" Khushi says. Yeah, alright! Khushi you should have shown this zeal to save your marriage not to destroy it! Sheetal dismisses her, "Khushi, please!.. I can't tell you!" "Why can't you?" Khushi almost yells. Sheetal says, "Can't tell you the reason either!" Khushi holds her in the track and pulls back.. asks pointedly, "What reason?" Sheetal says "Khushi, when I am not bothered about Aarav's father' Who it is and where he might be, why should you?"

Khushi yells back, "Don't lie, Sheetal ji! If you are not bothered about Aarav's father then you would not hide it from anyone!" Sheetal makes a face that is somewhat bothered but as if harboring a secret, "No, it makes no difference to me .. and you..!" Khushi says aggressively, "It makes a difference for you! .. a lot!.. and I have a proof!" "What proof?" Sheetal asks, "Didn't I say.. I don't.." she turns her face away. Khushi asks fiercely, "If it makes no difference then why did you keep a fast today?" For a few moments Sheetal says nothing.. as soon as she turns around and opens her mouth to say something, Khushi says aggressively, "Now don't lie to me, Sheetal ji! I know very well that you kept the fast today. I saw everything." Sheetal tries to brush it off, "I did not keep a fast!.. You are misunderstanding.." "You did!" Khushi cuts her off' "And then you broke the fast." "I am saying that there is a misunderstanding.." "I am not misunderstanding, Sheetal ji!" Khushi cuts her off again.. , "When I refused to give you the sieve, you used your dupatta.. scarf.. to look at the moon." Sheetal still refuses to accept, makes a vulnerable face and says, "There was something on my dupatta,' you are not thinking right, Khushi!" Khushi says, "Okay, may be I did misunderstand.. but, you looked at the moon through your dupatta'. And then, you looked at my Arnav ji!. I am not mistaken at all!" Sheetal recollects all those moments. Khushi yells at her, "And am I mistaken when I say that you drank water from the same thal that Arnav ji offered me!" Sheetal realizes that Khushi saw everything. Angrily Khushi says, "Okay, now say that, no Khushi ji, something had fallen into that thal.. I was just cleaning it up'tell me a lie!" "Khushi!" Sheetal tries to stop Khushi. "No!.. I am not misunderstanding anything! You kept the fast for Karva Chauth' and that was for Arnav ji.. " Sheetal asks, "But why would I keep a fast for Arnav? You tell me!" "Because, Arnav ji is Aarav's father!"
Wow! Khushi, I would have loved for you to be this fierce if you were fighting to save your marriage and keep Arnav's trust.. but no, the only time you act fierce.. it is to save the evil's interest.. Pathetic, I must say. I literally must shut my mouth right here..
Sheetal says, "Khushi, I .." Khushi opens up the envelope and pulls out DNA report.. holds it up and says, "So.. is this DNA report also is my misunderstanding?" YES, Khushi, yes! Sheetal looks at the report'Khushi talks as if her sole mission is to prove that Arnav is Aarav's father! You can imagine my how high my blood pressure must be at this point! "Yes, this report says that , they are related.. a deep relation' Aarav is Arnav ji's blood! They have a relation of father and son!.. Now deny it.. deny it as well!" Alright! Direction was totally wrong here.. the way Khushi said all these dialogues was as if she needed to prove to Sheetal that Arnav was Aarav's son' and not vice versa' if Director meant to show this for a purpose then also it is a misfit! It's not that Arnav and Khushi need this child because they cannot have kids.. or something like that.. It is mind boggling the way it is shown..
Sheetal takes the report in her hands and looks at it. Her eyes well up.. she sits down on the bed as if she runs out of steam.. tears start trickling down her face.. Sheetal says, "Please, forgive me,.. I did not want this.. I am sorry!" "Why did you not tell the truth before? Why did you deny this over and over?" To brief my assessment.. wrong tone of Khushi's dialogues here as well. "I did not want to lose Aarav,! I wanted to keep Aarav away form every sorrow,.. every trouble'and I have nothing but Aarav!" Sheetal says, "Aarav is my life! I was afraid that if Arnav comes to know then he would try to snatch Aarav from me!" Yea, alright! Sheetal talks bad about Arnav and Khushi just listens.. and thinks of how she can do good for Sheetal and Aarav .. and I am supposed to well done? Do they remember the bond Arnav and Khushi are supposed to share? Do they remember that Khushi though any woman who comes between her and Arnav was a chudail? No! All they remember is that Khushi is a not just gullible but is stupid! In the name of compassion she is always made to act brainless' BECAUSE she starts crying with Sheetal now .. instead of saying why is she talking bad about Arnav? She shows compassion to Sheetal' I don't know of any woman who would happily give away her husband to another woman.. or any illegitimate child especially when her husband denies it' BUT Khushi... ahhh...

Sheetal says as she cries, "What if Arnav does this.. No, this cannot happen.. No one can take Aarav away from me! I will not be able to live if Aarav is taken away from me, Khushi! I won't be able to live!" STUPID Khushi sits down down.. cries and soothes Sheetal, "Sheetal ji,.." Sheetal immediately holds Khushi's hands and says, "Khushi, please.. please, don't tell Arnav." Khushi says, "But, Sheetal ji, Aarav is Arnav ji's son!"
Disappointing.. very! I thought that Khushi was going to say that Arnav ji is my husband and how can I not tell him' instead she is all concerned about Aarav and Sheetal. Especially when Sheetal says the next sentence.. instead of becoming furious Khushi sticks with Sheetal.. "No, Khushi, No! He is Arnav Singh Raizada.. He can do anything' and what if he obtains Aarav's custody, then? Then I.."
No wonder.. Sheetal speaks with Khushi like a friend butchering her husband's character because Khushi herself does not trust and respect her husband! I say, Arnav Singh Raizada.. throw Khushi out of your life.. she does not deserve you! If she really loved you, she would have trusted you.. she would confide in you'
"Khushi, I came to Delhi to look for Arnav. I knew nothing. Just knew this much.. that we were together at some time' close.. at least for me it was like that' but when I met with him, then I came to know that he was married.. I realized that I was a very tiny part of his past.. and nothing else'why did I meet him? I decided that I would go away from here as soon as possible' but then circumstances changed. I had to stay here' and Aarav.. No, Khushi!.. It is not possible.. You and I can understand the delicate relationships.. " I disagree.. Khushi obviously does not! "But, my Aarav will not understand.. he won't be able to handle it if he comes to know that Arnav is his father' and what if Aarav insists to stay at home then? ' No,. it's not possible' Such a good family.. such good people.. I can't do this! I can't break this family! And what if Arnav decides to accept Aarav then?" Sheetal holds Khushi's hand in hers and pleads, "Khushi, please, now everything is up to you! Please, don't tell Arnav.. for my sake, Khushi! I will die without Aarav.." Sheetal cries ..I hate Khushi's tears here' wrong.. wrong.. wrong' This is not compassion'

Late that night:
Arnav and Khushi in the bed.. Khushi had her back towards Arnav.. an occasional tear trickles down her eyes.. Arnav lays awake in the bed.. he says, "Khushi, I know that you are awake." Khushi wipes off her tears.. Arnav reaches for her and turns her to face him.. As soon as he looks at her face, he becomes concerned, "What happened, Khushi?" Khushi lies, "I am alright!" She remembers the moments when Arnav and Arnav hugged after the basketball match.. when Arnav asked Sheetal why she does not tell him about his father' Arnav looks at her face,.. lost in her thoughts,.. he asks in a worried voice, "Khushi, tell me what happened?" Khushi holds Arnav's hand in both her hands and lies in a heavy voice, "I remembered my Babuji.." "What?" Arnav is surprised. Khushi sits up in the bed' Arnav turns and switches the bedside lamp on.. sits up in the bed,.. Khushi says, "You know, Arnav ji.. I used to think that I was very unfortunate.. that I lost my father' Babuji.. But, in a way I am so fortunate.. that I have someone who I can call Babuji.. But.. this is happiness is not for everyone,.." Arnav has no idea what she is talking about.. Khushi is only focused on Aarav'. Soo unnatural given that it's her marriage at stake! Worried Arnav asks, "Khushi, are you okay?" Khushi does not answer his question.. looks at Arnav and says, "Just like Aarav!.. He must feel that he can call someone his "Papa".. " Arnav thinks for a moment.. then nods and says, "Hunh.." Khushi reaches for Arnav's hand.. gives his hand a queeze.. and says, 'That's it.. just a small thing!" Arnav says with a concerned face, "Okay... Let's sleep."

Next morning at the breakfast table:
Some folks from the Raizada family are at the breakfast table as Khushi comes down the stairs'As Khushi approaches the table, NK calls chirpily, "Khushi ji, Good Morning!" Khushi says nothing as she sits down, NK asks, 'What's the matter, Khushi ji? You seem quiet today'. Khushi ji, shall I say something? This quietness does not suit you.. not at all!" Khushi still says nothing. Just then Aarav walks over. Sheetal says, "Aarav, come sweety, get your breakfast quickly!" Aarav comes and sits next to Sheetal. Sheetal hands him a slice of toast and says, "Mumma is getting late! Have this!" Aarav asks, "Mom,.. are you going somewhere?" "Yes, to meet with the broker.. we have to shift in a new house,.. and to see how soon,. I have to meet with them!" Aarav informs Sheetal, "Mom, today I will be dismissed early from the school' so, will you pick me up?" "Early dismissal? Why?" Sheetal asks. "Actually, there is function in my school.. so , no classes today.. and we have to wear casuals." "Okay, what function?.. Tell me, please!" Aarav says, "Fathers day celebration!" Which planet is his school on to celebrate Fathers Day in November? Sheetal immediately looks at Khushi. Payal and Nani ji also look at her as Aarav says, "I have told the teacher that I would not participate in any event!" Gosh, is he really five years old? Sheetal says, "Okay, I will pick you up early from the school and then we will go to the movies. Alright? How does that sound" Aarav says nothing.. Sheetal says, "Come, have your breakfast.. be quick now!" "I am not hungry!" Aarav says and leaves the table. Nani ji says, 'Sheetal bitiya, it is important to have breakfast. Go, feed him!" Sheetal says, 'Nani, it's okay!" What happened to "Ji"? Where is the respect? " Gradually, he will learn how to face the truth!"
"Sheetal ji, if you don't mind, can I bring breakfast to Aarav?" Khushi asks. Sheetal nods in 'yes.' Khushi gets up and puts toast and juice on a tray brings it to Aarav's room. All of a sudden she behaves chirpy.. says, "You know, I read something very interesting in today's newspaper!" Aarav does not say a thing. Khushi continues, "Okay, let me tell you.. it said in the newspaper that breakfast is the most important meal of the day! And if you will not eat breakfast then how would you become strong? And if you are not strong then how would you become a basketball player?. So, here it is. Your favorite breakfast.. toast and juice!" She puts the tray down on the bed. Chirpily says, "Now look at my Salman ji.. how strong he is! What muscles he has.. that's only because he eats a good breakfast everyday!.. Now come, have your breakfast!" Is this really a woman whose married life is in shambles theoretically.. is this how she is supposed to react? Aarav turns around and says, "I am not interested.. I know that you are trying to cheer me up' but there is no need. Now, please, leave me alone! I can pack my bag myself.. I can change my clothes myself.. and I can do my homework by myself' and if someone asks where my dad is then I can answer that too!. That I don't know! I don't need a dad!" He picks his backpack and leaves the room. OMG.. It seems to me that Khushi's sole purpose in life is to give Aarav Arnav as father! She says to herself, "Whether you say it or not, Aarav, I know that you need a father in your life!" Khushi, why don't you find a father for every orphan.. why only Aarav?.. And if you don't succeed in finding one for them then force Arnav to become their father!

Dressed for office, Arnav pulls the closet door closed and turns around when his feet stop in their track.. as he finds a distracted Khushi entering the room. He walks over to her. looks at her mellow face. ..reaches out to her and asks, "Khushi, are you alright?" Khushi says nothing.. just hugs Arnav.. her eyes moist.. "Khushi.." Arnav asks gently.. Khushi pulls away.. but says nothing. "What's wrong?" Arnav asks her. with moist eyes she says, "Aarav!"
Oh God! Is he Sheetal's son or Khushi's son? Is he Khushi's responsibility? With a frown on his forehead, Arnav asks, "Aarav?" "Arnav ji, Aarav needs a father desperately!. I have noticed his emptiness.. he feels the void of father'he says nothing to anyone.. I know that he longs to meet with his father! I am afraid, Arnav ji.. one day such kids fall apart!" As Arnav tries to understand what she is saying, he says, "I understand, Khushi!.. We all are so attached to Aarav.. Actually, Aarav is just like that! Anyway, we are doing all we can for him, right?" Khushi now pushes her agenda, "Arnav ji, can you do something more for Aarav?" "Me?'" Arnav asks. Khushi enthusiastically says, "There is function of Father's Day in his school. He was a bit sad.. said that he would come home early. But, if you go to his school then'" Thank God, at least Arnav has not lost his mind yet! He says, "Khushi, how can I go to his school on Fathers' Day?" With a smile Khushi says, "If you take time out to go to his school, he will be very happy!"
"No.. No.. No, Khushi!" Arnav says, "I cannot go to Aarav's school on Father's day! Any general function. .or annual day.. it's okay but not Fathers's day!" "Why?" Khushi almost yells at Arnav to his surprise, "Why cannot you go? Aarav needs his father! Aarav needs you!" Arnav's eyes narrow down,.. his gaze sharp..pointed,.. he looks her into teh eye and asks, "What do you mean?" Khushi says with a smile, "I mean, Aarav likes you very much'and someone respectable.. aradhaya.. is also like a father.." " Aaradhya,.. what?" Arnav asks. To Arnav's surprise,. Khushi pushes, "Let it be! You go to his school! He would love it!" Arnav says, "Today it will feel good.. what about tomorrow? What will happen tomorrow? Khushi, if I go to his school on Fathers' Day then'it's wrong! It's a lie!" Khushi forces him, "Arnav ji, don't think about all that! Just think about Aarav.. His face will brighten once he sees you. He will be so happy. For the first time in his life there will be some father like person with him. Arnav ji, this day is very special for him' Can you not do this much for Aarav?" "Khushi, I know what you are saying but, it's not limited to today! You have to look at the bigger picture. Sheetal thinks that Aarav is very capable of understanding and he will learn to deal with all this soon.. and it's true! I am sorry to say, but Aarav will have to accept that he does not have a dad!" Khushi is just so' says, "Arnav ji, Aarav is very young to understand al this' and who knows what happens tomorrow. We need to worry about today. Today Aarav needs you." Arnav looks away. Khushi holds his hand and says, "Arnav ji, who can understand this better than you. . how difficult it is to grow without a father..what one has to face.. " Arnav looks her into the eye and says, 'You are right! No one can understand this better than me!" He pulls his hand out from her grip and says, "I know that this is wrong!.. I don't want to make Aarav dream of what can't be realized' I can't do this!." Arnav leaves.. Khushi grabs her dupatta and nervously rolls it in her hands..

A bit later she goes to Sheetal's room. Sheetal is folding Aarav's clothes.. Khushi is about to knock on the door when Sheetal looks at her. "Aarav?" Sheetal says, "Gone to school." "Did he eat anything?' Khushi asks. Sheetal nods in negative. "In fact, he didn't like.." Khushi says.. Sheetal says, "I know.." Khushi all of a sudden walks into the room and yells at Sheetal, "Sheetal, Aarav has a right to know that Arnav ji is his father. You cannot take away his right! Why don't you tell him?" Sheetal angrily throws the clothes away and walks over to Khushi and says, "Khushi, have you ever thought what might happen if all the truth is said?.. If Arnav says that Aarav will stay with him, then,.. what about me? What will I do? I cannot stay away from Aarav' cannot live without him! Then what will happen, Khushi? Will you leave Arnav due to all this? Or will Arnav leave you?" Khushi grabs her dress and crushes it in her hand'
Great At least .. Sheetal thought about what Khushi should be thinking about'
