I have one question. Did you all watch the new show or are you basing your opinions on the pictures and articles that have come out? There is a huge difference between ASR and the lead of the character. ASR was angry at the world. He didn't care anything about the world. His world was his Di. If anyone did anything to her, he'd rip that person apart. He didn't care about anyone's feelings. Didn't think twice before hurting people's feelings.

The lead character of new show is only angry at one person. He has a lot of pain inside of him and all his anger and angst is directed towards only one person. He is afraid of hurting people around him. He is soft spoken and is not a brutal businessman like ASR. For ASR everything was a business deal and money could buy anything(till Khushi changed things). For the new lead, money isn't everything. He longs for love and compassion yet is scared of it.

Secondly, you all really thing that 4Lions started a show on the other channel so IPK's viewership decreases? 😆 WOW! I mean if they call all these shows and characters their "baby", you really think a parent can take all the toys from one kid and give to the other? If that was the case, 4L couldn't have cared less about the popularity of the show and closed it down already because according to them the story has reached it's final point. But they extended the contract with the channel. Tehy know about the popularity. They are willing to keep this going. They are asking for viewer's suggestions. Which PH does that? If they wanted to shut IPK, they could've made Arjun a daily on SP.

Lastly, no actor can re-make what has already been made once. Every actor come to a show with his own set of fan following or make them as the show goes on. So to say that they are trying to make another ASR is absolutely comical. No one can go and make another Armaan, Maan, RK, Shravan, ASR, Arjun and now Asad. Every actor gives his own touch to a character. Only SRK can be Raj from DDLJ and now we can't imagine anyone else playing that. So to think of remaking another Raj is actually quite comical. And why do you all see another ASR in the new character? Why didn't you see another ASR in Arjun? If it was a daily, you probably would've? When IPK started, everyone said they are trying to create another MSK. Well? did they?

What I am trying to say is stop being so judgemental and -ve about things. IPKKND is OUR show! We love it! So continue loving it and take the opportunity that the PH is giving you to help them improve OUR show instead of being -ve and pointing fingers at the PH, other show or actor/character. Because that will not increase IPK's rating anywhere.

yap...saw an epi n noticed how they copied the scenes from IPK.

but that looked pathetic,trust me ! no chemistry at all ! expressions r blank ! no wonder its getting negative response.

it doesnt matter how many ASR's they make,but there's one and only Barun Sobti who plays it the BEST. for us ASR matlab Barun.

same goes to Sanaya...

whatever your strategies r to make that show it, mind my words 4lions', SaRun defines chemistry.

I thought that was where the fundamental difference lies in them. ASR is scared of love and compassion and wants it too. Yet, this new lead is more expressive about it... ASR would NEVER admit something like that, EVER.

Arnav is more scared of hurting himself than about hurting others. He would go to any length to avoid feeling how he felt about his past and to protect those he loved. The new lead is more cautious and yes, is soft-spoken and less pissed-off at the world in general.

I personally think that they are different but it's still too early to tell. For now, ASR is (or was) the darker lead.

👏 IT Seems the actor in the new serial was supposed to be our ASR thank god they did choose him to play our IPKKND ASR no one can compare to our MR. SOBTI THE HOTWA...

These are the same things I heard when IPK started... that the main lead in IPK would be another MSK. Now its all about 'AAK is a clone of ASR'... and I guess if the PH does another show, the main lead there will be called another AAK.

Anyways, I think it shouldn't matter much if there are similarities or differences between the characters. The characters come in different shows, different channels and different time-slots. Plus, although the three characters seem so similar at first glance, they are in actual not so same... they have their own different character sketches.

Let them trying...'coz everyone knows that there is no one else in this world who can act asr better than barun!!
And if they succeed(which is impossible), then they will never succeed in creating rocking chemistry between the leads like SaRun!!!

It is one thing to end a show, that is their right, but to keep the show on air and start a negative campaign, insult their actors and us the audience, that is just not acceptable.
I will be writing to SP advising that 4 Lions needs to be held accountable for irresponsible press releases in the name of asking the audience for storylines!

I also strongly encourage everyone on this forum to take the position that they will no longer support a PH that disrespects the audience or the TV channel that allows this behaviour.

I will stay loyal to IPKKND despite the PH best efforts to destroy the show but I will never watch another 4 Lions show and my paid subscription to Star Plus will end when IPKKND ends!
