A Small OS... I know this isn't the greatest because I have been having issues writing these days... But I really had to write this for my own reasons.

Dear Darling Khushi,
How have you been my love?
Well my love, just last week the trenches were flooded with water,
Mud arose high up to our knees, dead bodies buried in them,
Rat infested and many sickness spread throughout the camp,
Cold winters arrived chilling us to our bones,
Exploding bombs surrounded us,
Many died, but I am still surviving, maybe because of your beating heart close to my body.
Do you miss me like I miss you?
Oh sweet heavens how I wish to hold you in my arms.
But alas, life isn't always fair is it?
It's okay my love,
Our love is far greater than distance,
Nothing can separate our hearts.
Each and every night I dream of a better life for us,
Maybe one day our dreams will become reality,
One day, we will face the world together,
And one day we will look back, whispering,
'We made it.'
- Arnav

***
This coming week is Remembrance week. November 11th at sharp 11:00 Am World War 1 ended officially. The last person to die was a Canadian from a city called Moose Jaw in my province. Now I know many don't care for History, but I wrote this OS to dedicate this to all the soldiers out there in the world, who have left behind their families to face the true realities of war.

God!
I am like freakin' crying a river over here!
This was so sad...beautifully written...
These few lines touched my soul so deep.
And your dedication was lovely.
Thanks for the PM.

History is what I love to read about for it is about our forefathers and the rest who created their niche in this world, that had turned against itself. Wars started from the time Power came into being, and Hate started from the time Greed came into being!

The poem touches my heart and reminds me of all the soldiers, countrymen who gave their life for not only their respective countries, but also for this Goddamned world, that sucks the life out of you, even if you are a Non-living thing. I pity this world for not recognising them for what they are truly worth. Just recognising them on particular days and feeling patriotic doesn't make you Patriotic, at all.

You've got to pick up yourself, do something for others, even if you fail, you can stand up and attempt it again infinite times, till you are successful.

There are men and women who work for us and our safety, killing their own safety and standing in between us and the Death that comes in the form of Hatred/Power/Greed. They sacrifice their Life, for us to live happily and with nothing to fear. They have their own family to look after too, but still they go and fight for all of us that includes their own family. But after they die, we are still here, but what about their respective families who have lost a Father/Mother/Sister/Brother, etc..?

A Salute and a Standing Ovation till my hands bleed, for the Soldiers of Life.

I don't believe we are any different, living in different countries.

We are One Big Nation.

Remember that all the continents are a part of one single Huge Continent that broke apart million years ago. It separates us Physically, but never Mentally.

I extend a hand of Friendship and Love towards all of you, out here! Are you willing to accept it?

Annie😃
