Is Arnav a saint?

Or is he a human being who can commit a mistake?

Ever since the news about Aarav possibly being Arnav's child started doing the rounds, I have seen the forum go from one level of crazy to complete

My question to you all is, What is the actual problem with the CVs showing us this track?

Is it because:

a) No-one wants to believe that Arnav had a colourful past with someone other than Khushi?

Is everyone forgetting the Lavanya track here? Before Khushi this man had no beliefs in love or marriage at all. His only priority was Di and then his company. He was in a no nonsense relationship with La and was willing to have a live-in relationship with her right under the nose of his family. Do you think this was the first relationship of this type he had with someone?

b) or is it because the existence of Aarav and Sheetal pose a threat to Arnav and Khushi's relationship?

Of course if Aarav does turn out to be Arnav's son it will change the dynamics of their relationship, but do you really think it will completely separate them forever. These two have jumped over so many hurdles to be with each other. Yes there may be a small separation, physical or emotional but they will get over it. And both will come out stronger!

c) Morality? Do you think by having an illegitimate child it makes Arnav a bad person? A cheat like his father?

First things first Arnav is nothing like his father! In fact if Aarav does turn out to be his he would never abandon him just to prove how much unlike his father he is!! Sr. Malik had an affair while he was married, Arnav had a casual fling while he was at college, the two scenarios are completely different.

Whether Aarav turns out to be his child or not doesn't bother me - what bothers me is everyone's reactions

This track is a win win track for me either way...

If Aarav is his son then there will be some excellent displays of emotion from Arnav and Khushi, and the intensity everyone has been craving for so long will be back.

If Aarav is not his son and it's all just a big plan from Sheetal, then watching Khushi take down Sheetal will be a treat to watch.

I'm not out to bash or offend anyone, I just wanted to put my views out there.

wat I used to love about this serial is that both the leads were flawed, they were a more realistic portrayal of reality and that was showcased beautifully in the show as there is no such thing as perfection.

I honestly don't c the problem, the period in question was wen he was young, before he met Khushi, a time wen he did not believe in love, marriage or a loving relationship for himself. His character sketch is such that he was aloof, cold, focused, so having a mutually convenient arrangement where emotions were not part of the equations fits his character.

Khushi is aware of ASR-La equation, she knows wat his beliefs were, she knew they were goin to have a live in relationship, La confirmed it was a relationship where u did everything but did not get married. So this is not a new concept that wud ruin his character, I actually feel its the other way around, and it wudnt b the first such relationship.

I have heard he is bein compared to his father and shayam, I can't c the similarity, he was not married at that time so he was free and single, he did not cheat anyone, he did not deceive anyone and he is not aware that he had a son from that relationship. I firmly believe had he known previously that he had a child he wud have taken responsibility for the child and again that fits his character sketch.

Wat ever the final outcome, whether Aarav is his child or not, I don't mind.

I want the decision to b made now [v don't have to know, but the creatives do]. I just want the cvs to b able to tell their story their way, I want a strong story \ track, where there is not goin to b to much dragging or filler episodes, I want sharp, consistent dialogues which fit the characters, where the transition between the stages of the track r smooth, and the episodes flow nicely.

As a daily soap there will always b and need to b drama to engage viewers, and this track will let them explore new depths in their relationship, new feelings, emotions and it will make their relationship stronger. You will feel each and every emotion wit the leads, I am lookin forward to the cvs exploring all this and more in this track.

I don't want another case where the track changes in the 9th hour and the episodes shown building the track up make little or no sense anymore.

The cvs are the creatives and they need space to create, not every track is goin to b liked by everyone as everyone's taste and opinions r different but the creative shud b allowed to work and question shud b if it is within the scope of the character and ASR's character sketch for over a year says yes.
