Very true...I don't know why It is even considered liberal or progressive thinking to be n favour of casual sex...something that has the potential to cause such imbalances and suffering is never a good thing...morals and values don't come into this...it's a question of responsible choices in life..

If they show Aarav as Arnav's son then it is the end of ArShi.
Khusi will have no place in Arnav's life then.

exactly.! 'cuz that fact alone will shatter many hearts.

A wonderful post! 👏

Agree with u on the point that Khushi should leave ASR and his son's mother alone after knowing the truth! Because the kid deserves to be with both of his parents. And that will destroy/end the story.
Sigh. Many people don't understand that.
"We live in 21st century and premarital sex is not a big deal these days"/ "let Arshi deal with it" / "Arshi bond will get stronger by this" kind of statements make no sense to me.

I fail to see why Arnav should leave Khushi to be with Arav's mother. Which son would want their parents to be in an unhappy relationship forcefully for his sake? And that too, a son who never knew his father all this while?

Arnav can still be a father to Arav and husband to Khushi.

But having said all of this, I don't want any of this to happen.

I want Arnav's first child to be Khushi's.

i don want the kid to b Arnav's child...

Rima, the west is now awakening to the difference a 2 parent household makes to a child's upbringing! This is one of the biggest things Obama has been asking of the African-American community (since they have the largest numbers of single parent families; mostly mother). Glad to know you agree, because morally, I find it wrong that Arnav would want to have the cake (Khushi) and eat it too (Arav).

I am a mother and under all circumstances feel the child comes before any adult; parent or other wise. If Arnav loves Khushi so he wants her to stick around while he plays house with Arav and his mother few hours a week, what good is it doing to anyone?

That is what prompted me to make the post. Because, there seem to be 2 extremes in opinions of forum members. Either they were delusional that Arnav was a virgin, hence Arav can't be his son or Arnav was a philanderer and should be acceptable in this day and age. I would not have a problem with Arnav's intimacy with other women if there was no child on hand.

It's an unfortunate situation...and the kid is an innocent victim agreed but all will have to compromise in that case...I don't think he would have a normal life even if Arnav were to build a life with his mom as he doesn't love her..so Khushis sacrifice would have no meaning then...

Anyway ths is conjecture... Don't think we are heading for this in the show as it would be too complicated..

But, what good will it do for Khushi? She will suffer a different way. I am tired of that! Is it too much to expect Khushi will have a few moments of untainted bliss in her marriage? First it was he Di ka problem solve karo, now an illegitimate child her husband fathered? Frankly, this may even have been acceptable, if the CVs had spent a few weeks dedicated to Arhi's relationship; brought back the passion and shown strength via small gestures from both Khushi and Arnav.

@GREEN: I am saying Khushi should leave Arnav it the other way round! If she stays, all she will get is more suffering. Just not worth it IMO.

I think the CV's should not introduce any talk of Arnav and Sheetal being together at all. Maybe they were just classmates.

The child could just be a catalyst for Khushi and ASR realizing that they want to have a kid together. Especially Khushi would feel the need to have Jr. ASR in her life too.

Maybe Sheetal and her husband who is also like ASR can be estranged and Khushi and Arnav can help unite them. Maybe the only reason she is uncomfortable with Arnav and Khushi is becox she has had an unhappy marriage herself and she does not want Arnav to know she has been a failure. All of us have felt the same many times, when we meet old friends after sometime and we do nt want them to know about our failures.

In such case no issue of morality will arise and no repetition of storyline of any other serial will occur.
