After yesterday's cute episode, today's was a big let down. We were expecting khushi to have a nice celebration for ASR after all the anticipation. Din't she since morning realise that ASR in fact wanted her to wish him. The way he asked 'what's special for breakfast?'. The way he looked expectantly at her when she called out to him while leaving for office. Alas it was just to give him his phone.
Then also at the office, the way he was expecting something special for lunch. And khushi, who is supposed to understand people's feelings, who claims to know what ASR is thinking. She cudnt understand he was dying to be wished by her ?
Even when he shouted at her saying that since it was his first b'day after marriage , cud he not expect at least a happy birthday wish from his wife ?
And khushi, instead of wishing him, just said that she wanted to celebrate his b'day and had everything planned out but he himself instructed not to celebrate it. She was just sulking at the dinner table.
Further she says 'Hum aapke liye itna badal sakte hai, toh aap humare liye itna bhi nahi kar sakte ". Shayad humne kuch jyada hi maan liya '.
Now that was absolute nonsense !!
In what way has khushi changed for arnav?
Its Arnav who has changed himself for her. Seriously khushi must be suffering from amnesia. HAs she forgotten her entire marriage rituals ?? He put mehendi on his hand, danced for her, proposed to her. He put behind his most painful memories to embrace her !
ASR has bent backwards and more for her !!
Same thing after marriage. Imagine ASR sitting thru a salman khan movie.
I would have rather had a dialogue from khushi like ' Arnavji hum to aapka janam din badi dhum dham se manana chate the. Lekin aapne mana kar diya. Aap hi sochiye aaka janam din manake hume aur baaki sabko bhi kitni khsuhi milti. yeh ek mauka hota hai, sabko apna pyaar jatane ka. Itne saalonse aapne yeh mauka pariwaar walon ko nahi diya. Lekin hum chate hai ki aap hume aur sabko yeh khushi de. Kya aap itna kar sakte hai hamare liye ??'
And hearing all this, arnav feels sorry and says 'ok..u can go ahead with your plans but make it short and sweet without too much of shor sharaba and only with family members '.
But instead we had khushi making arnav guilt for no reason. The poor chap has to make jalebis to appease her.And khushi stands near the poolside all sad. It looked a bit too far fetched to me. Just left me wondering. If arnav had not made the jalebis and cum to khushi, wud she not have wished him ?? and given him his gift ??
To my mind, she spoiled her own birthday celebration all planned by arnav by being so adamant and she did the same on arnav's birhday.
CVs , sorry to say this but u messed up arnav's birthday after a very promising start.
