Rang
Rang, kehte hai hamare bare mein kahaniya bathathi hai, rang jo har sare emotions dekhata hai; love, fear, happiness, hope
For me, nothing, it showed nothing... utter darkness - like staring into the depths of night. An endless hole that you could fall into but never come out of, gloomy days and grey thoughts were all I had...
That was my life, until...
She came, as a light, cheerful, instantly filling my life with colours of the rainbow. Being with her I felt and experience all those beautiful colours...
Her presence always managed to comfort my nerves, bring peace and serenity; healing all wounds with a touch of Green.. her touch.
With her, it was always laughter and happiness sealed with a promise of better times...tied in Yellow with a bright smile...
Side by side, everyday was fun, spontaneous and I, no longer felt the need to self-pity or ponder on the unwillingness to forgive them... it was a new dawn, fresh like a newly peeled Orange...
Her touch, her hand entangled with mine, so natural, so calming, easily lost in a sea of memories, of memories to come, uninterrupted, surrounded by nature, all blue...
...And today the kiss. It was magic, the way her lips connected with mine. It was right, and somehow, among all of the dizziness and the clinging to her like a life line, something inside me changed, never to be reversed. This new feeling could be dwelled upon later, because, for now, I was content to feel her breath come and go with mine and hear my heart beat just a little faster... enclosed by red sparks of love. my favourite colour.
That is now my new life, filled with colours, with my Khushi, my Wife...
She taught me that somethings are made to just experience...
