Gosh not again!!!!!!!!!

The forum is flooded with posts bashing Arnav for not taking a stand for Khushi's honor but the thing is Khushi's honor is not at stake and if there would have been the slightest hint of that Arnav would have killed Shyam then and there.

First tell me, what is her honor based on? Something that Shyam said in his fit of madness????? nai na. Remember last when she was accused by Shyam, that day ASR had slapped him cz then there was a fear of the family believing Shyam's accusations. But today evryone had seen the snake's real face and would not believe a single word he said... as he also accused Arshi together plotting against him but noone paid nay heed to that. Reacting means giving shyam's accusations some standing and ASR is mature enough to understand that, Khushi might run but then its in her nature, she is 19 (I think) and overly impulsive, but Arnav knows better. Also I think he had seen it in Anji's eyes and expressions that she has finally accepted the reality and would not trust Shyam further, Khushi on the other hand may not have been able to understand this silent gesture of Anji and hence the reaction.

Furthermore, from a technical point of view, ASR beating or even shoouting at Shyam would hve subdued the effect of Anji's slap. Today was all about Anjali and it was wise on Arnav's part to let her react and take control of the situaltion.

We must remember that wise men do not pay heed to a dog's barking😉

What if Shyam had called Anjali characterless?Would he not have reacted then?Everyone in the family believes Anjali but still definitely he would have reacted.
May be the editor/CV's didn't think showing expression on Arnav's face is important here-but just a reaction/small gesture of support like what they showed on NK/Payash face would have been sufficient.My POV.Still I loved the episode.

Fully agree with u. Like I had said in other post...

I actually felt differently when Khushi plead that is she made sure Anjali did not fall into the traps of Shyam again jst like in the past by his sweet twisting words...And Arnav didn't say anything because focuss is on Anjali... everyone is apprehensive of her reaction as she jst came to know about the true colors of the man whom she used to worship for the last 5 yrs...Besides everyone in RM knows how Khusi is so justification from Arnav for Khusi's character clarification is not required at all and the RM people knew the truth and they were least bothered what that man says...

u may be right Shyam will reacted cause his love for Anjali was fake..he had to proove by showing but ASR love is true and I think dont need to say more v all know tht do not need to prove

See there is no point in comparing anjali and khushi cz they hav completely different characters, anji needs someone to support her, khushi does not. Secondly Arnav did not seem to react to anything much, probably cz he had just expected this frm shyam but fr others this whole revelation and evrything that followed was a shock and hence extreme reactions, if u compare even NK seems relatively calm, not as calm as arnav though.

Ukp18 wasnt talking about Shyam. She was talking about Arnav.

What if Shyam had insulted Anjali? Would Arnav had stayed mum like he did to Khushi? (he had done this to Khushi not once, but on many occations. Remember after the kidnapping fiasco when he kept quiet just like today?)

Well I think that day his slaps said more than words ever could. He made his stance clear, that he is by her side always.
