Long way for Arnav to realize his role as a husband! At the same time, I feel Khushi's forever grateful nature should change too. I'd luv to see her character growing more independent.

What bugged me is that, Aakash and Payal got married, but no one suggested a honeymoon for them even after more than six months of their marriage.

Arnav and Khushi got married. She was supposed to go for Pag Phera to her mother's. She did not get it last time when Gupta family asked her to leave and just gave Pag Phera for Payal.

She did not get it this time either because of Anjali's drama.

This is just the beginning. You just wait and watch what else she has to sacrifice from now on until the day she dies.

Even I am disappointed with the way ASR reacted when Khushi was again called characterless. She is the one who gets least respect/no respect in the whole drama. This story is about Arnav-Khushi and not about Arnav-Anjali though its an important relationship.CV's have always tried to give importance to Anjali's character and neglecting Khushi though they know nobody wants to see her.She needed justice only because she lost her baby-but it was her stupidity/delusions.
I want Shyam to come back and harm Khushi or may be somehow Arnav looses Khushi-atleast he will think beyond his Di and may be he will give a bit of importance/respect/honour to his wife as well.

Good point. But my point is that why one person has to be harmed or be at death's door for someone to realize their value? Arnav needs to realize Khushi's worth NOW, not after she is injured or dead... Then the concern is for her health, not for the person itself. How sad is it that someone has to be harmed to be worthy of consideration.

My father defends my mother so fiercely, you would think he's crazy! In fact, it's a well known fact, that nobody had better say a word against my mum, for whatever reason. And actually, that includes my siblings and I!! That my dad has to contend with two vastly differing cultures (Italian/Persian) is a feat of his love for my mum. He always says, without respect there can be no true and pure love.
I don't think Arnav has that for Kushi. I mean he says that he loves her more than life itself, but what's the point of lip service, no action??

Following is a reply to an earlier post:

But of course! We already know that Kushi will NEVER get the redemption she deserves from any of the people who purport to love her. Neither has her husband the spine to defend her, (hell! he can't even defend her for something like phatti saree, how will he defend her from a goon??) nor has the creep, Shyam the conscious to feel guilty or ashamed. Neither do any of the Guptas including Payal have the capacity to love her as one of their own, nor do any of the Raizadas have any respect for her. She's there only for what she can do for and give them. What they can take from her. Like I said before, she's like the incense that sacrifices by burning so that others can enjoy the pure fragrance of heaven.
The CVs hate Kushi so much that they are actually cutting off their noses to spite their faces! They are actually prepared to take the disgust thrown at them to demean Kushi! How spiteful!
I woe the day I got into this serial. The only reason I keep watching is I keep thinking (hoping against hope) that Kushi will one day get her due. That the CVs will finally see the light and make Kushi rise like the phoenix from the ashes. Yes, after all the shabby treatment she has received from Day One! Well, I can keep on dreaming, nah???...
But it's not that I get any pleasure from watching this serial. I'm like a junkie, now. I know this serial is no good, yet I can't stop myself!!!!!!!

@bold, you said it all 👏! Your dad's awesome.
Khushi needs to respect herself too! Tomorrow you'll see her going about her business tending to Di's indoor pyrotechnics show and not feeling offended or even trying to have a word with her husband about where his brain/spine went MIA when she was accused!

It seems that its very difficult to keep track of the situations and characterization in the daily soaps.

CVs creates situations, build characters and introduces tracks. But most of the due to many factors like TRP, Channel instructions and even actors demands they have to change the situations and story lines. During this face they themselves forgot .or ignore the way they have build ed the character.

From the starting we have seen ASR as angry young man...who always there to protect his sister...Even when he started loving Khushi and married her...he shown lot trust in Khushi...defended her... BUT...BUT first off all this Shyam truth revelation episodes were incomplete in my view and next ...in order to give importance to Anjali's character they forgot how they have created ASR character...thats the reason...ASR didn't reacted for Khushi's honor.

Infact...in this show...only Khushi is the person who undergone and undergoing lot of suffering..pain...troubles and humiliations..

Instead of title 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kyaa Naam Doon"...the most suitable title for this show could be...'Behna tere liye' or something like that.

Khushi is always left standing to defend herself and take blame infront o everyone, yet she never stops loving and never stops forgiving. Nobody has shown yet that they are deserving of her love and IMO regardless of how much I love Arshi (and trust I am goo goo ga ga for them) I honestly believe that NK is the only who ever stands up for her. Classic example is Arnav still stays quiet when Manorama insults Khushi, who stood up for her against Manorama? NK that's who.

Don't get me wrong. I love to see Arnav and Khushi's romance. But that does not blind me to the fact that Khushi is always treated like second-class citizen. And she is not unique in this case. A lot of women in India is treated like that in their own husband's home. They have to eat after everyone eats, do all the household chores and always at the bottom rung of the priority list and the sad thing is, they don't mind that because that's what they see growing up happening with their mother, aunt, sisters, sisters-in-law...

I completely agree. You see, if today Shyam had not pointed his finger towards Khushi or Khushi did not need to run after Anjali and beg for her to believe her, it won't have mattered to me. My reaction would have been different.

But everytime I see a woman beg in front of her own family to believe her and her husband does not do anything to change the situation, makes me feel ashamed as a woman. I feel it insults a woman's dignity. But that's just me.

Very well articulated ost, said everything I was feeling. I'm married to a British man and guess what?? He was appalled when ASR didn't bat an eye lid at his wife been demeaned andinsulted! His next question was why do Asian mothers not teach their sons to put their wives first when they get married an alway take pleasure in seeing the DILs been treated like shit by their sons...

Asian communities are stuck in such a time warp, so sad really...
