Hi Chaitu, you name sounds rather lovely, I have to tell you this again. đ¤đ¤
I liked the episode. Focus is rightly on bringing Shyam down, no unnecessary romantic moments which gave the episode a realistic touch. I don't think this is the end of Shyam, and I hope it isn't the end. There are many evil acts of Shyam's which are still unknown to the rest. They have to come out in time. This time I think maybe only his deeds with Anjali (miscarriage deed) may come out. Shyam is the only villain in this show, and he may be back later on along with Daadi - I still feel that the past with Garima has to be cleared. Also, this time Khushi's plan has got Shyam where they want him to be, and I feel that later on, Arnav will get a chance to use his highly tactical brain against Shyam. Let's see.
After a long time we got a touching sister-brother scene. Barun Sobti was simply perfect in this scene. Arnav knows that what he is about to do will shake his sister to the core. He has seen her going through heart-breaking times ever since their parent's deaths. Since a young age, Arnav has always been there like a true brother by Anjali's side, protecting her, supporting her, and keeping her happy. While most of the tragic events for Anjali in the past were brought about by unforeseen circumstances, this time it is Arnav himself who will be bringing his sister an event that will add to her string of heartbreak. Just imagine how it must be for Arnav to knowingly bring about a situation for his sister that will cause her pain. Pain is the one element that Arnav always strove to keep away from Anjali. Today, he knows that she has to go through the pain of a thousand stabs in order to be saved from a lifelong threat. The scene was lovely as it depicted Arnav on the eve of preparing himself to face one of his worst nightmares - his sister's dreams torn apart. Ironically, it is his bond with his sister that he brings forward in order to confront the awaiting task of breaking her marital bliss courageously, unflinchingly, and resolutely.Arnav has never much been a man of words when it comes to expressing his love, care and concern for his loved ones. It is always his actions that express the reservoir of love that he holds within him for the others. Today too, after so many years of living together, Anjali is pleasantly surprised and happy to open a treasure trove of all the rakhis she had tied for him over the years.
Arnav had saved her handmade rakhis, had collected them each year, stored them, and had kept them safely with him as each year went by. It wasn't just a box of rakhis, it was a container of the long-lasting loving bond they share, the unity of their affection... the box carefully preserved the bond of protection and care, the importance of their relationship... the ties that bind them together... the simple sweet relationship they shared... was all carried by the box all these years. It was a chest that maintained the strength of their bond throughout the years.
It is from this very reserve of strength that Arnav draws from today. Arnav is stacking up the resolution to open the gates to the very elements that he has been shielding Anjali from all these years - the elements of pain, hurt, unhappiness, sorrow, tragedy. The irony is not lost on him that he will be subjecting his sister to the very thing he has been protecting her from. Arnav requests Anjali to tie him a rakhi around his wrist, to reinforce the promise of always protecting her, of always keeping her happy, of always doing the right thing for her.Anjali has total faith and belief in Arnav even as he doubts himself. She refuses to believe that Arnav could ever hurt her. He has been her constant lifeline in life. They've been there for each other throughout life's trials. Her little brother whom she always wished to see happy is finally happy! Anjali has always only looked out for her Chotte's happiness, while he always only looked out for her safety. Anjali and Arnav have been securing and maintaining happiness and safety, respectively, through the one person binding happiness and safety for them - Khushi! There has always been perfect balance between Khushi-Anjali-Arnav. Anjali is mostly the apex for this trio for turning the situations around, for bringing in new angles to their relationships, and for creating a new dimension to existing feelings.Khushi and Arnav are the contributors, experimenters, and participants in this balance act as most of their moves are either triggered by Anjali, or are targeted toward Anjali. Today too, one sees the balance formed when Anjali opens her arms to envelop her two downcast kids, Arnav and Khushi.Anjali shares a similar trait with Khushi - that of seeing and keeping all her loved ones happy and smiling. When Anjali notes that Khushi and Arnav have something weighing on their minds, she immediately seeks to infuse them with love and warmth as she hugs them lovingly. The balance is thus formed, Arnav on one side, Anjali in the middle, and Khushi on the other side. The scales of justice for Anjali were level - Khushi and Arnav.
The blindfold covering the eyes will be untied - Arnav and Khushi looking at each other determinedly. Anjali herself wound her arms around the voices of truth - this time she will accept their truth.I have always maintained that Anjali is a very strong person deep down. She has great reserves of strength preserved within her. I have said in the past that Anjali has the capacity to be ruthless, demanding, manipulative, and shrewd. In my previous posts around three-four months back, I believed that Anjali should never be underestimated. In fact, the weaker the person seems to be, the lesser you should underestimate the person.
The CV's have a great opportunity to bring a whole new dimension to Anjali's character. I am hoping to see an ASR-ish side to Anjali - an Anjali who will lash out at Shyam, who will mete out the punishment to him, and who will lead the decision in casting him out from her life, and if not that, then it is a wish to see Anjali finally learning to accept the realities of life, while not totally disbelieving her dreams - would love to see Khushi in the forefront aiding her at this, with the support of Payal and well, Arnav of course!
The above however remains to be seen in the future episodes.Arnav and Khushi are focussed on their plan to help Anjali see the true face of Shyam, and to put an end to Shyam's dangerous tactics at their home. Each of them are highly tensed... Arnav is hardly able to contain his fury against Shyam, while Khushi is unable to stop her fingers from betraying her internal anxiety. However, both of them calm the other with just a light touch of reassurance and support. The realism of the moments are preserved as thoughts of love, and romantic incidents are kept out of the way when Anjali's life, her future and her state lingers over their sentiments.
Anjali has always been an important part of Arnav's life, and she has always been an endearing elder-like sister to Khushi. She has always been the one who invariably brought them closer to one another, who helped them understand one another, and who pushed them to grow in their love. Anjali has always been there for each of them, and now, they are there for her.
Shyam meanwhile has distanced everyone from him with his vile acts, thoughts, deeds, words, and actions. Anjali is the only one still by his side, but not for long. He has always been selfish, greedy, narcissistic, and egoistic. These qualities have wrapped around him so tightly, that one snip at it, one trip over it, or one unravelling of it will tear out the entire veil covering him so far.
All the schemes that he carried out against Anjali are haunting him. He alone is witness to the repeat performance of his own plans against him. The rest of the family only looked on unbelievingly at him while he tried to convince them of the happenings. Well, now he knows what it's like to be not believed, to be looked at in suspicion, to be left all alone while almost everyone else is against you.Shyam's mind has been terribly rattled with the events of last evening. The events in rapid succession have left him feeling uneasy, unsettled, worried, and anguished. The following morning too seems to be haunted with bad events for him. An electric shock, and the wails of a baby piercing through his head drive him mad.
The first batch of havoc in his mind haven't yet cleared when heartbeats reverberate through the room... the heartbeats are followed by the pitiful cries of an infant... never stopping, never ceasing... the cries continued as relentlessly as Shyam's past misdeeds... Shyam was able to get through all the other echoes of his plans, but this one, the sound of his own unborn child whom he murdered crawls up his spine, clambers on his head and screams through his ears, deepening its cries in his head, driving him to the brink of insanity as he wildly whips around trying to shake it off his conscience (does he even have one?).They could have tortured Shyam slowly and painfully, but the nature of the plans (glass shards, abortion pills, electric shock, baby crying) were such that if spread over a period of time would have lost their impact. Therefore, the plans had to be played out within quick succession of each other in order to build up the intensity, dread, fear, and madness for Shyam in order to push him desperately to the edge - the edge that will only result in Shyam's facade slipping off and descending to the depths below. The edge that may push Anjali too to reveal her hidden side.I am eagerly waiting for tomorrow's episode!!
Will Anjali finally let go off her demure image and reveal the tigress hidden beneath?
Will Arnav and Shyam have a showdown?
Will the whole Raizada family throw Shyam out together this time?
Will Shyam reveal only his miscarriage plan or all his misdeeds?
How will Anjali be after the truth is out - will she learn to face the reality and yet enjoy?
Will Khushi-Arnav come together to help Anjali after the Shyam fiasco - and will this result in tender, masti, lovely romance? The story is far from over... lots more to happen, lots more to watch!
MUTTERINGSIf DB were around, she would have decoded the 5 lakh, 3 lakh cheque. I'm short of time unfortunately and am unable to see what the numbers stand for. Also remember, the difference of 2 between 5 and 3 if you venture into decoding it.Everyone royally ignored Shyam while wishing a happy wedding anniversary! Anjali didn't seem to notice this though... đWhen will we get to know why exactly Shyam is doing all this? Is it for money? Is it for revenge? Is it for heightening his superiority level? For status, position? Or has he just lost it? đLoved the spinning of Shyam and the camera around the room in the last few minutes... good impact for the nerve-wracking (for Shyam) scene! đđź
CREDITSAbhaas Mehta: Loved your evil smirk, enjoyed the slithery comments, liked the ambition to lay your hands on not just 5lakhs but everything, and thoroughly loved the last few seconds of the show while you went into spasms of terror, fear, and madness! Thank you for being so evil as Shyam that we laugh at your devastated state! đ âď¸Barun Sobti: You nailed it again in the bro-sis scene! The magic of Arnav's bond with Anjali was refreshing after such a long time! Great voice modulations, expressions and performance! đSanaya Irani: Always a good companion to Barun in any scene! Please get a new wardrobe! đDaljeet Bhanot: Barun and you work fabulously as a brother-sister pair! A sweet performance...Deepali Pansare: I am so glad and relieved that you are staying on! Rooting for PayAsh scenes!! đ
Karan Goddwani: With lines, without lines, or even few lines - love you in every frame! đłREADERSI'm grateful to your faithful appreciation. đ You are always free to drop me a PM if you feel that I've missed a point or if I have erred somewhere, or to just simply discuss. I enjoy reading your views that some of you PM to me!I would also like to say (not only readers but everyone else) that, as far as possible, stay away from negativity because it will only bog you down. Rumours, speculations are best left at a distance. Unconfirmed theories, and senseless frenzy will spoil your mood, and in turn, will deflect your normally sensible, rational, good-natured view of the show toward influenced criticism and prejudice. You will find it easier, and lighter when you watch the show without the distaste of negativity lingering in your mind.
THANK YOU Teju for opening tonight's Adda!! âď¸ Loved the questions you've posed in your main post! Crisp and nicely written main post! đ¤Wishing you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWAPNA!!!
