No this is not to claim that I have some source who informed me about whatever the future plot of IPKKND is going to be like, well I am guilty of using a misguiding title but then such titles seem to attract more people as compared other more truthful or more complex ones, hence the saucy title.
BTW, the point I am trying to make here is that many people have been arguing that after Shyam's revelation what is left in the show as Arnav and Khushi are already in love and the family is happy in their happiness. Here is your answer, Arnav and Khushi are essentially what we call polar opposites. They have diabolically contradicting and conflicting personalities, despite being one and the same at the core of their being. But the outer personalities cannot be ignored. Khushi is a free spirited woman and Arnav we know loves, nah, need to possess and control, that's his way of expressing his love. So when a free woman has to spend a life time with a controlling man do you think its going to be uninteresting at any point? No. I feel it would be like watching Elizabeth Bennet's and Mr. Darcy's life after their marriage, something that has always excited my imagination.
I know, you'll argue that Arnav has changed but its impossible to change someone completely and despite all his love and understanding, he has had some ideologies and ways of its execution that cannot be changed in a matter of days. For instance imagine a male friend of Khushi suddenly enters their lives, how would Arnav react to it or what if someone who once shared Arnav's bed meets them on their honeymoon, wouldn't Khushi's reaction be interesting to see. And then both belong from different worlds and now Khushi has to live in his forever, so wouldn't it be interesting to see khushi going to a party with Arnav where all the other wives are scantily dressed while our Bitiya visits in a tent suit or a glittery saree (granted sarees are sexy, yet they are different), how would Arnav react, how will Khushi try to adjust, if she decides to change will Arnav encourage her or tell her to remain as she is, or will he be the one to push her towards this transformation and then regret thinking, what has he done...
And then we must not forget Anjali, up till now we have seen only one side of her personality that is of blind faith and undying love and devotion, how will she react when she finally understands that her life has come down to nothing that everything on which she had been standing, basing her life has never been there, it was all a mirage, an illusion. Will she will she try to end her life as there is no child to stop her now, or will she succumb to the Dark once again, descending within herself, or will she finally open her eyes and see the light, the real once this time? Will she finally decide to live for herself? Will she need another man to support her or will she resist any chains that bind her now?
Friends the point I am trying to make is, with as interesting characters as the show and the production house, Four Lions offer us, the scope is immense. And to clarify all your doubts let me offer you this story I've been reading for a while and m actually still in the process of finishing it, to show you just how vast the horizon of scope is. Here I'd like to clarify that this is not written by me but I am most definitely loving it. Here the story takes off from the forced marriage and the Shayam fiasco is cleared within the first 30 chapters and the story still goes on from there and you never seem to lose interest. here is the link, please enjoy and I must say the writer has a beautiful and very fitting concept, which is perfectly executed. Have fun.
