i know it was a lie, and i get she was making an excuse for Arnav not to go the office.
my point is that the writers should at least try to keep to the past story in some reference context the makes the present lie probable, they are celebrating anniversaries and birthdays,
if the celebrated a marriage anniversary in August one year they can celebrated it in september the next year, it gives a time frame and approximately reference. but if it is celebrated in December, how can one established a time reference in the story, as in how many years have passed in the serial life of the characters.
Khushi is telling a lie, but it is about a past occasion that took place in a specific time range, it should at least coincide with the past story to some extent right. If she had told a lie that made no reference to a time in the past it would make more sense. ( what if someone started watching the serial six months back and does not know about lavanya and ASR relationship, and what would happen if the CV's decide to bring lavanya back to make up a new track then what,)
In Khushi lie it seems that she was seeing ASR at that time and despite that she got engaged to shayam. So either she was two timing both men, or the fact that shayam was living in buaji house and coning the guptas never happened. Logically speaking,
All i'm trying to say that the CV's should do their home work, before penning a dialogue. Keeping in mind the past story and reference frame, its not like they have to go digging for the information. And it would also be nice to see them taking the story seriously to some extent.
