I just wanted to add my thoughts on the show he had signed before signing onto IPK. I remember an interview where he talks about this and openly says that he signed the show but was offered a lead role on IPK so he took it. If thee were any skeletons to hide about that show, I don't think he'd be talking about it so coolly. These bashers have brought this up to point to his commitment issues but this just shows his honesty IMO.
These "professionalism" crusaders are being amateur themselves going off of "sources", rumors, and a lot of connecting the dots as they sit behind a computer and act as if they know barun personally. Practice what you preach crusaders...don't be petty by adding onto rumors.Nothing in entertainment is set in stone. I'm sure there has been a lot of behind the scenes stuff going on that not even mishtis sources can be up to date with.We'll find out eventually but no one deserves to be bashed like this for news that isn't confirmed. Even the most reliable spoiler giver mishti said nothing is confirmed. I too think barun has a lot of room for improvement in various areast but nothing gives me the right to judge him as a professional or human.
Thank you for this; I didn't know much about that show so thank you for clarifying it. Yep, usually actors are quick to brush things like that under the carpet yet Barun seems to be an honest person. I remember when he talked about his views on casting couch as well & SBS made it look like that was how he had gotten into the industry. They later apologised for the misunderstanding, but it was brave of him to talk about such an issue so openly.
It's all chinese whispers if you ask me - someone told someone who told someone else, so the story turned from 'I've been offered another movie role & am handing in my notice incase it gets to a stage where I cannot balance both' to 'I'm leaving the show in December and I'm only staying for these 2 months'. But of course, here I'm making an assumption too 😳
