First of all congrats to our Forum on arshi wedding ..
Now to my point - what makes IPK a phenomenon no other show has achieved :
- The lead pair - BS & SI both apart from being good looking are fabulous and natural actors.
- The only serial where the female uses her maiden name along with the married name KKGSR
( this means a lot to me - cause it shows that a woman doesnt lose her identity when she gets married )
- The only show where a woman can get drunk on bhang and the hubby tries to stop her ! and no one thinks it is anything out of the ordinary.
- the only show where the woman has substance - she speaks her mind and does not necessarily agree to everything the guy or his family wants..Unlike other shows where the MIL /elders make all the decisions and the female has to dumbly follow it. If she questions it then she is a vamp !!!
- The girl confesses to the guy and doesnt go all shy when she tells him how much he means to her.
- the bride and groom hug after the pheras and say I love you in front of everyone - and everyone smiles !!!!
- The guy and girl consumate 1 day BEFORE the marraige - and it all looks so beautiful and touching like there is nothing wrong in what they are doing . ( thank god for that!!) Its just accepted and so today.đł
- The only show where a woman has a affair with a married man and his son and grandmom think it is the mans fault and the woman is not made out to be a w***e
- Most important everyone is not dressed like they are going for a wedding !!!
I am sure there are many other reasons - I have omitted - pl add what you think - would be fun.
