Meri MaaIt is said that when God created Universe because he could not be with each of his children, he created Mother.
If we go by oxford dictionary meaning of word mother:a woman in relation to a child or children to whom she has given birth
But is mother only that, by giving birth to a child does not make you mother. Not all mothers are same either. We have Garima who even though is not biological mother to either kushi or payal, but has lived herlifefor them . She is what every mother should selfless and loving .On the other hand we have Ratna Malik who to me appears to be everything that mother is not. Yes we can see from arnav flashback that she was loving and caring, but was she really a mother to them, when times got hard she took easy way out, not once did think about her kids and repercussions of her one act. How can a mother thinking of taking her life on the day of her daughters wedding is beyond me. In that respect i feel anjali is like her mother, not even once have i seen her grieving for the child she has lost because shyam is back in her life
So what we have now is 2 children's fight for their mother
Kushi : she has seen what garima has done for her ,what Garima has given her ,she will fight and I was happy to see that last night .A woman who has raised two strong daughters cannot be weak ,it is the love of her daughter and their well being that is making her weak ,but she will rise ,her daughters will make her rise.
Arnav: ever wondered why arnav does not want hear anything bad about his mother. Arnav is clinging to only to good memories of his mother why because he does not want to see the betrayal .He does not want to open his mind and his heart to the fact that for his mother him and his sister did not matter enough to live. He will need to come to terms with that ,past is painful for him not because what happened ,but because of what did not happen – mother wanting to live for her children than die for her husband or false pride.
So now finally we have NPAND and MDJND track happeningFor me if the makers show the nafrat between the leads would be too clichd ,been there done thatFor me
Nafrat isArnav's nafrat of the OW, because it is easier then hating your own mother for her betrayal ,for her being weak
Kushi nafrat for daadi for maligning her mother's character.
Daadi's nafrat for garima, who she making a scapegoat for events of past. Because it is easy to blame others for her failures as mother yes daadi failed too. If daadi was such righteous and correct as she claims herself to be then why run away .14 of simmering hatred of her own inadequacies is now coming out as venom on Garima and her daughter because it is easy to do so .
Nafrat is for both arnav and kushi not for each other but for circumstances where life has bought them to. Where they have or need to fight with each for their mothers
For me nafrat also stands for Anger/disappointment of Arnav with Kushi and Kushi with arnav for not understanding each other stand, mind you this will be phase and will pass.
Mohabbat – I will be looking at this from broader perspective not just love between couple.
Mohabbat is for the pure and unconditional love that is between arnav and kushi, which has gone through various test in past and will pass this one too.
Mohabbat is for the love that kushi and payal has for their mother Garima which is making them stand by her and fight for her.

Mohabbat is for the blind love that daadi has for herself and her Damadji and her son
Mohabbat is also for the love that arnav feels for his mother, which he is desperately trying to hold on to
Mohabbat is also for the love and respect that arnav will bestow upon garima when he realizes her honesty and her truth and her Love
