Guys...just saw the episode...

What's a sangeet ceremony which does not have Arhi dancing? So...there the were or rather he was...under a good excuse for a dance ...a proposal!

Well...I liked it that he went all out to do the proposal...but I didn't quite like him doing Salmans towel move...Remember when last time they leaked that he was going to dance in Payals sangeet...and I said...the only dance style that will suit an ASR is Paso Doble or a Tango...? Well the Teri Meri dance was his style ...full of passion...of a Tango or a Paso Doble...and I was thankful tha he didn't do a Bollywood hero number...Today...no such luck...he did what every other Bollywood hero does...that is dancing tapori style...so not ASR ...in love or not...I wasn't too impressed ...EDIT...Why does love mean he has to become Khushi ka pati...in every way...and not retain any of himself...? I wouldn't like Khushi to be Mrs. ASR only and not be Khushi...then why this reverse pressure?

This would have been like Khushi trying to dance a Jazz number...would she do it...because it is his favorite style? ...In some matters I am a purist...A true character sketch is one of those...Really like characters to stay true to who they are...not just be a hero and be whatever the fans want them to be...dancing, singing, entertaining, running arond the trees...you name it...

Having said it...did it spoil the mood for me? Not really...I just didn't do much for me...I would rather than seen a longer pehla pehla pyar with Arhi which was emotional...dream sequence...and have him delive one dialogue like Salman...and that would have been it...but it had to be this filmy...so be it...

What I did like about...Today's episode was how much running around Shyamu was doing to protect that picture from revealing... 😆 😆 😆 Wasn't he trying to atually reveal the truth to ARnie and the family? Then why do the opposite? Well...looks like the problem with two villains in one show is they fight about Who is calling the shots...so dadi being there...is actually backfiring on Shyamu...and I am loving it!!!!! 😛

Well not sure...if making posts this late is even worth it...or everything that had to be said...has been said already...but sure would like to hear your comments! 😃

Sush I liked the episode...heck he is in love and ready to do anything for her!

He wanted to propose in Sallu style and he did it ...Its not tht the dance was good or meant to be perfect and look good for viewing..it was all about the love he has for her and he is all out to show her he can do anything for her..I absolutely loved the thought behind that was so adorable!

It was very clear that he danced inspite of not knowing or liking to do it!

Applausible effort!👏He did it to bring a smile on her face..this time around he wants to have eveyrthing perfect for her...anything she ask for! I didnt find it anything out of character because he gave the disclaimer that love can make you do the unbelievable and he is doing it ..who had thought he would dance in Salman Khan style😲...so he knew he is going out of his character and it was specified by the makers that its not meant to be ASR style! So no tango Sush..thats ASR then!😳

I loved Baruns expressions in the towel scene..as if to say "I know how funny I look" still I am doing it for you!😃

Sush yes why didnt they make 'pehla pehla pyaar ' a bit more longer...it was so dreamy and sensual! And why didnt they make Payash dance for that instead of NK-Mami? I so much felt for Payash today!😆

Dadi is turning out to be smarter...can I hope she catches slowly on what Damadji is upto?

Tomorrow is another day when KKGSR crashes ASRs party once again!😆

Good that I caught your post before turning in.

Today's episode discussion has all been about how Arnie has been destroyed by that towel dance...the last man standing in terms of character sketch has been mutilated etc etc...

That towel step is a derogatory step in any dance language similar to the hundred dance steps we have I our so called item nos. should never be done by any decent person or fictional character. When I saw the pic posted on the forum I cringed ... But wheni saw it , I did not hate it at all.

To be fair he did start with a disclaimer and it was on a cheesy song fo a girl who likes cheesy. You could see Arnie and Barun really taking it in his stride and jus doing it. Forme that is what Arnav is ...a guy who never backs off from things to do for his loved ones , be it his Di or Khushi. He loves her and is not shy to show it and that is Arnav for me.

Too much emphasis is being guven to that one minute and how different is this from the several scenes he has done by taking off his shirt,the public bath or falling into gobar. They are all rotten and not much o a permanent damage is done. This too will become one incident which we will remember and move on.

For now I am concerned that this khushification of Arnav is not permanent . This Rajshiri production ends soon and we have meaningful drama and comedy. The episode was nice on the whole specially the fits ten minutes...I am sue we will get good episodes in the coming days...

I understand your feelings. But hey, look at it this way.

The Salman number is definitely not his style. He even protested in the beginning. But then decided to do it for Khushi's sake. Just like the way he gave her chana, Jalebis and Salman'e poster etc. One more thing for her. Propose to Khushi in Khushi's style!!

If you ask me it was cute, in spite of not able to dance, he took it upon himself to do a salman number

ASR is passionate whether it is love, hate or anger!!

Thats what the dance is all about!!!

Sush, I just loved this episode. Just when I thought their bond couldn't get more strong it does, these two continue to amaze me. How beautiful were their scenes?? Starting from the start where Khushi and Arnav talk about their future, her what the it was just too good!!

The dance, talk about shocking! I expected them to dance but ASR's solo, a complete surprise!! On first I watch, I couldn't stop laughing but on second I was in aww!! Arnav only had eyes for Khushi, never once looked at anyone else and the smile on his face said it all -- he's in love! Here's a guy who went from shattering Khushi's dreams to making them come true. The perfect ending was his down on one knee proposal, I was just waiting for Khushi to say pinch me for this can't be real!! I agree, would've been nice had their pehla pyar dance been longer.

The next day, Khushi shocking the brothers by giving NK the go ahead to have a bachelor party for her love. Poor thing had no idea what she just did, it wasn't until Payal told her differently that she realizes this was not a good idea. I want to see a restless, jealous Khushi especially if she crashes the bachelor party which I wouldn't put past her. It seems I'm not alone, did you see the look on Arnav's face in the end? He is definately upto something.

Suddenly the acting of side characters has improved a lot but Arnav and Kushi seem a bit off...am I seeing too much Sush or did you find a change in Arnav and Kushi's expressions...but I am loving LM's return over all 😃

What's next...Zuz...running around trees and singing in satsang...if she wants it? Sorry for putting it so bluntly...just makig a point...As you see Zuz...I am not too much in favor of everything goes in love...but you know this is tellywood wanting to be Bollywood...why should I expect anything different?

Any way...I sound more disappointed than I am...it's OK...I take it in stride...and move on...I would have even taken a Salman dance Zuz...but that towel step...UGHGH...the only time they should show it is when they are trying to poke Fun... 😛

Different people express love differently...and that's OK...and no falling in love does not mean...reducing to anything...can we just be comfortable with that and not try too hard?????!

I get a feeling that "behind" the "marriage rituals" parda... the loose ends are being tightened..

I want to very soon feel the "wind" (which ASR feels when Khushi is around and vice versa) that LM is back... 😉

That said..

Highlight of the forum (not really the epi) - Arnav's dance - was so 180 degrees with Teri Meri dance.. so not him..

- I agree, they wanted to show he will do anything for Khushi..

- I agree, they wanted to show he is not afraid to admit their love in front of everyone

- I agree, they want us to know that he will stay with Khushi when the truth is out..

I agree with what they wanted to show..

But haven't they been showing it all through-out - him coming for all the rituals.. he could have just proposed her on stage - or some other surprise like getting someone to deliver a HUGE flower decoration with "Khushi - Will you marry me" or anything like that.. that would have done it much more for me..

and ofcourse then again taking her to poolside and pouring his heartout...

But ASR looked TOO TIRED being in love for this long 😆😆😆

Barun - take some rest..

I liked the dance ONLY as Barun's attempt to improve at his dancing skills ! He did fabulous as compared to his earlier dancing attempts..

Writing here is definitely better than making YET another post about this and making this more important than what is really is !! So now I will stop talking about THE dance 😉

About the rest of the episode.. since I am Marathi myself, I have seen Swati Chitnis in many different roles.. For some reason I believe in her not being cheesy / goody goody... I think she is a sincere actor and does it for the love of it.. And hence the moment she stepped in, I somehow believed that her character will bring in the missing intelligence...she won't accept a role, which is stupid.. like everyone is made to look right now..I think she will catch onto Shyam's moves pretty quickly... This is second time for her (after her son's affair)!!

So yes.. am loving it..

I think this track will turn into "expose Shyam" track..

BTW, Photo chala Bichoo ki chaal - that's what came to my mind when the photo was getting circulated.. remember how that scorpion was changing hands in last sangeet !! 😆😆😆

Edit :: Oh ! Yeah.. and Khushi Arnav's expressions during Sangeet... OTT + Confused.. that's what will happen when things are shot differently.. but they do lot of justice to their characters.. but this needs to be fixed.. If Khushi happy means OTT - then I am ok with Khushi being little sad 😆😆😆 😕😕
