Um... the exact opposite way the Lavanya sequence played out... Kind of like...

They're shopping for wedding jewellery with Arnav hovering about. Khushi keeps looking at one set after the other but likes none. She tries an elegant set; something she's sure Arnav will like. She doesn't like it much but she can see Arnav likes it so she agrees to get it. The rest of the family start choosing the jewellery when Khushi's eyes fall on a box that was hidden beneath the others. She opens it and gasps; her dream set of wedding jewellery come true; but she gives them up because they wouldn't be to his taste...

Arnav whispers something to the jeweller who nods...

Khushi comes into Arnav's room to find the same box lying on the bed; eyes shining with happiness she asks how he knew about it... Arnav answers saying that he'd thought it would suit well on one of his fashion show models. Khushi's face darkens and she huffs and places the box on the bed forcefully and tries to walk out.

Arnav catches hold of her and asks her if she doesn't want to know the name of the person whom he bought this for. Khushi grudgingly asks who it is. Arnav directs her towards the mirror and begins describing Khushi's traits... her Sanak, her calling her husband Laad Governor, etc, etc. while he adorns her with the necklace as she gasps in delight. she turns around in surprise and joy and he nods as if to say he knows her every wish and dream without her having to voice anything...

And this was also how I imagined the "I love you the way you are, Khushi" playing out...

Nah! That was the "Shock Effect"Today I am quite benevolent... Sonu caught fever again... he was in a crappy mood... refused to do his lessons... refused to eat... refused medicine... total Anjali Jha Mode...Then I let him watch yesterday's TD and guess what... he revived! He laughed outright! Had lunch, swallowed meds... got some rest and is now reading his lessons...So I forgive the god awful dance😆

Yeah, Bushy; I was mentioning that... I thought that scene closed the loop because the Khandhani set was a pearl based one too...😊 Arnav used to have Fbs of breaking it constantly, na? So I thought that prompted him to get her the pearls? Kind of like, he couldn't repair the ancient/past ones but he could offer her the new/future?
