The charisma of two actors BS and SI and the chemistry they created made me stop and tune my viewing to IPK and as I started watching the layered characters of the drama with their flaws got me further hooked and the riveting attention given to the unique love story did not let me look beyond...

As the episode drew to an end I just wondered was it the same show that I had started watching last year?... the star cast said yes...the changes I witnessed said maybe not...but as some one intelligent had once remarked the only thing constant is change..so how can IPK remain unaffected from it? The hate of Arnav and Khushi turned into love and brought us at a juncture of where do we go from here ?? Can we go back to hate after painstakingly proving and acquiring a deep love which is fiercely cherished by the protagonists? If we do will we be honoring the trials and tribulations that went into creating and nurturing it in the first place? So the question comes back how do we move the story ahead? An easy answer we openly pit antagonists to create rifts instead of the protagonists creating them..

The antagonist came in the form of the damad of the house...who was smartness and cruelty personified..he killed his own flesh and blood for gain.. It was understood he wanted revenge by wrecking havoc in the lives of the people who had turned his life upside down... His anger at being played and be humiliated by the girl he had a soft corner for was evident...but somewhere his lust for the girl ignited again.. and he forgot how she had despised and treated him ignominiously to the point where he had decided to let her be killed by the man she loves... his ultimate revenge...he started forgetting things...failed to recognize his father-in-law with Garima...he started miscalculating... his pawn dadi outwitted his intentions by creating her own game plan of letting the wedding continue...

Shyamoo had got deadly fangs like the cobra overnight.. and in a equally swift move his poison was diluted...😛 The smartness of the villain in contrast to the helplessness of the hero was glaring hence the change in directions...

In his place the side kick got a promotion to be the chief player and deliver the goods... A misguided Dadi who was being manipulated in her intentions of trying to safeguard the lives of her grand children was misguided no more...she turned into a revenge seeking cold blooded woman who forgot the intention of her return to RM...she wanted to stop her grand children being played but she ends up trying to play her grandson. The grandmother becomes heartless and cruel to her pota... inspite of the complete knowledge that he is in love with Khushi she decides to make his pain of loving her more brutal.. instead of informing Arnav the reality of Garima she perceives... Subhadra Mallik fakes her acceptance of Khushi as the family bahu and lets the wedding preparations continue...to hit Arnav with the grave news on the eve of his remarriage...discounting the fact that how hard it would hit the young man😳

The promo to this effect is out... in anticipation of a nail biting wait if the marriage materializes... as the flawed and potential character who could flourish with her shades of grey and white, Subhadra devi the grandmother dies a silent death to be replaced by a vamp Dadi Saas...

The mother Garima who had been angry with her child for marrying improperly today couldnot stand up for her child's marraige. She could beg, plead and cry in abundance a foreshadow of the fiery mom called Garima Gupta..

Not even once she mentioned to Ms. Mallik that her grandson had been instrumental in the event of marrying improperly like her son who didnot mention he was married...

Her guilt at being in love with Subhadra Devi's son was evident even when she was unaware of his marital status...though why she should be beats me...Her effort of not trying to wreck the marriage which she feebly mentioned yesterday was not highlighted anymore...

A crying,pleading and a begging mother is not always a proper depiction of a caring mother...A mother who has given her daughter the seekh of being just and fight for justice and righteousness should depict the same... A strong mother too can be defended by her daughter and son-in-law. It would have beautifully shown to us the roots of Khushi's upbringing as a girl who has good values and stands by them strongly.

The gupta and Raizada families who have always been about proper traditions and rituals visited the groom's house for playing passing the parcel?😲 I am still trying to understand why couldn't we have a better sequence to showcase the love of gardening by Arnav and Garima -Dadi fireworks to highlight the contrast in situations... The family continues with their fun and frolic without bothering about the groom, bride ,her mother and unwell father... Has the family become uncaring and insensitive or the team conceiving it?

Arnav's mental faculties now do not function with precision in anger and love... He fails to be surprised that Dadi had a sudden change in her stance towards Khushi even after eavesdropping on her hate laden speech for the girl.. Her words of fear referring to Dadi's acceptance of her fails to ring alarm bells in his dimaag... He can only be bahut khush oblivious of everything... Arnav Singh Raizada is truly a changed man.. he plays pranks and makes fun of her in public view... gone are the days when he used to guard his most precious moments in strict privacy...

An un-synchronized dance number as precap.. the anticipation for the next episode.. there was none...
