👏Wonderful Crooner Priya, as always.

The thread has become such a wonderful place and although I do not comment everyday ,it is becos u guys say it so much better that I can only agree with your thoughts.

But Indiradi, If I may call you so, everyday for the last couple of days or is it weeks I have become a pankha of your writing.

hi, your minutely observed, really funny post after a while. loved it. why doesn't khushi's heart beat faster? nathulal much, was nk really dancing with buaji, aaah iss pyaar ko kya naam doon. never realised arnav's bd's hand was rubbing away muccha. liked what you said about how khushi has her stars that keep her close to her parennts and now arnav brings her to his place where he finds his mother. ha ha "didi ki saut" aur nahin, "maa ki bahu" much better. maybe someday, just "meri zindagi," in whom he sees not just the woman he loves but a sense of his mother and love itself, what. 😆

how unfair, you're still playing catch me if yiouu can with your husband, yet you say at 14 arnav should have been done with his share of it 😆 meanie. i liked what you said about thsi episode being more about arnav the child. nice transition from play to a boy's special world, to a man's commitment. for whatever reasons the "from today you are my wife" did not sound dissonant to me, guess the bd's made sure all my what the's were devoted to them. i took that line as a part of what he wanted to say: i've brought you here to give myself to you more fully, with all of me, i give you my most precious possession, share with me my mother, my home, from this moment on we are one, you are my wife, my mother's daughter-in-law... let rituals carry on it's really of no relevance." gosh i sound soppy and nonsensical, but you know, what i'm trying to say.

absolutely beautiful, your description of that last scene between them. yes, there was a serene stillness, deeper than the flattening of depth of field for misty effect, reminded you of the ocean. luverly.

adding a thought:

was mad at khushi for behaving the way she did on her birthday. yesterday she realised the significance of that rose and acknowledged his wishes with her words and smile. i am delighted. coincidence it was on sanaya's birthday?

She shared her stars with him, he shared his plants with her.. Things important to each of them, defines what they are today.. Today, he brought her to his haven.. His secret place where he's brought no one but her.. She holds such a place in his heart which no one can touch.. She realises the same fact.. And remembers the rose he brought her on her b'day.. A blessing from her mother-in-law.. Makes it all the more special.. He shares his innermost feelings.. Trusting her.. And asks her to trust him.. Which she does, and like him accepts him as her husband.. Her twinkling eyes, that smile and calling him 'Arnav'...reaffirming the belief.. And she will surrender.. Saare rituals ek taraf, these two are married in every sense come what may..

shivani, enjoyed your post of course, but that line in red bold, bless you for that. agar sach hua toh mein black forest cake khilaaongi sabko. promise.
