How is that Anji has told shame that her first marriage broke, but has kept mum about the circumstances that led to it - her parents suicide?

Married for 4 years, and such vital parts of their past have not been shared with her husband-

The only way I can explain it is by Anji's obsession with creating and maintaining her illusion army ideal world.

If you see she discusses the past only with Chote, that too to ease his pain , the both have not looked. Back, not to re- look at it, reexamine their perspective, and reassess their judgement of the past .

The past is etched and frozen in their minds, it torments Arnav again and again and shapes the actions of his present.

Anji seems to have locked up her issues and thrown the key away, she just lives in a pretend world, and the past has no role in her ideal world.

Maybe that's why she has not told shame about this.

But yes, a little unconvincing.

Good analysis.I loved ME and of course Arnav-Khushi haldi scene-a unique and hot one.Tracks are laid,waiting for it unfold to see how it affects Arshi's relationship

Somehow, Garima as the second woman , it doesn't really fit in with her character, there has to be some twist here, Arshi ma'am some thing doesn't feel right

Yes, indeed, intriguing! Let us see, how old could Garima be?

She was already married to shashi when Khushi came to live with them.

That was about 14 years ago.

I don't think the affair happened after her marriage to shashi -

There are two reasons for this, one her realtionship with shashi has no signs of nay such turmoil

two, shashi knows all about this, as shown, so probably, it was before their marriage and she told him about it when they got married.

The affair must have happened before she married, in fact just before she got married, maybe she agreed to marry shashi because of it and it's fallout.

If Khushi was 8 then , and even if payal is only a couple of years older , she must have been about 10

If the world assumes that she is Payal's real mum, then she has to be old enough to be that, that puts her at close to mid forties now. That means she must have been close to thirty women this happened.

So possible, only it was rare for a girl ESP from that background to be unmarried till that age!

So possible yes, but intriguing , very intriguing.

So let us see what the CVs have up their sleeve and what the real truth is.

Dadi has assumed that Garima is the other woman, Shyam has also assumed the same, Arnav Khushi and rest of the family will also assume the same,

The truth is known only to Garima and shashi.

Very good analysis Anji ma'am and like Shyam, Arnavs dad may have hidden the truth of his marriage from Garima, if they had an affair. For to have an affair with a married man is not in her character.

If as per speculation it was shyams sister who had an affair with ASRs dad, then Shyam would know of it right? He would also know that another woman had taken the blame for it.

Then why did his monologue not reflect any of this?

Yesterday's dailogue from Khushi - life is not a song that you can fastfroward - I think it was a dig at us - our cribs on too many Arshi less scenes and how we ff all of them !

Shyam's connection with the past has not been brought into the story, even in the last two episodes, when Shyam has been confronted with the past, he has not shown any previous awareness of it, so this still remains a conjecture.

The problem is that Shyam's reasons for being so vile are still hidden. So this speculation with past connect.

His monologues and reactions and ignorance with what ASRs dad looks like has me confused. If the connect is not with all this, then what?

Or is he just plain evil - doesn't sound convincing.

Good mystery.

I thing monday will be Garima mystery and shams past will be much later,
