Heyy you all
So I normally don't do this sort of thing, there are many more talented and smarter people in the forum who write on the episode, giving their views and making us understand why the episode was good or not.
But today the CVs forced me to, come out of my shell and write my heart out!! CVs, Gul, Arshad, scriptwriters, the whole freaking IPK team!!! Hats off!!! What a brilliant episode!!! Sorry if you thought I was going to bash the episode, cause I'm not, as I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!
IMO IT WAS IPK AT ITS BEST!! Don't get me wrong I don't mean that this is the best episode, far from it, but today I knew why I watch this show, and why I love it!! Because jab yeh log dil thod they hain tho woh bhi bahot pyar se!!! There is such poetry, such beauty even in every heart break!!!
I mean I was getting annoyed the last couple of episodes, like many of you here, but when i watched today's I was literally jumping up and dancing!!! It was a mind-blowing episode. It had everything, drama, love, passion, pain, betrayal, heart-break, anger, innocence, happiness, sadness...and all of them in so many different forms. Today I felt like, yes this is the reason why I watch this show and tolerate its ups and downs, because after a down they give this, an episode, mere 20 mins jam packed with a rainbow of emotions!!! That take you for a ride. LOVED IT!!!!
I was all with Arnav today, I got your back Arnav and support you. Although what you said to khushi was harsh, but then you aren't you if not harsh in your anger, and pampering in your love. Some people may be annoyed with Arnav, I'm not. And no it has nothing to do with the fact that I love Barun Sobti, and Arnav Singh Raizada. I side with him today, because he was betrayed, by his khushi, granted that was never what Khushi wanted to do, and never thought he would feel it that way, but nevertheless he did feel betrayed. Why? Because she went behind his back and did the one thing he never expected or thought she would do, and because she knew how much he hated that person and yet still brought him home without even consulting him or giving him a heads up. So yes in my opinion he should feel betrayed and hurt by her. And all the things he yelled at her, were harsh, yes but one has to see, has to feel the pain behind those words, why he said it. Because like he said, she made him vulnerable again, a feeling he hates and her actions made him vulnerable, and not just him, that he could probably forgive his vulnerability, but what he can't forgive is how her actions have made his Di and his wife vulnerable too in front of that scoundrel. Because what she fails to see, he does not, he has finally understood how devious and dangerous a man Shyam is and so realises that by bringing him back she is endangering Anjali, herself and the whole family, and he does not know how to protect them from his manipulative ways. Whenever he stops Shyam the family will just see Arnav being stubborn and unforgiving, except for maybe NK and Nani (but I'm not sure how long even Nani will last against Shyam's 'charms'). For example tomorrow when he stops the wedding, everyone will see Arnav as wrong, even though they don't trust Shyam or agree with him, they will without even realising take his side, because they will feel that Arnav should not call off the wedding, thereby making them side with Shyam, although in their minds they will be siding with Anjali. But who's finger does anjali dance on, Shyam!! So thereby will be siding with, shyam. And then when he continues with his 'bichara' act Dadi and Anjali will side with him, and thereby plant the seed of doubt with the family as to whether Shyam has changed or not. The seed of doubt has already been planted in Aakash and Mami's head who already have questioned Arnav's authority once, even if it was silently, but as this seed grows the question will no longer be silent.
And so you see how brilliantly Shyam has planned his come back, which Arnav anticipates. But unfortunately due to Khushi's rash actions will not be able to stop him, before things go wry. Because he is Arnav, not used to giving reasons for his actions, but when the family begins to demand them, problems will arise as he will see they don't trust his authority anymore, and then the past may come out as well, where Dadi will get an audience as to how Arnav is bad decision maker, he made the wrong decision then n is doing so now too, and the Raizada's will not know how to defend that assertion as they too will be doubting Arnav.
Coming to Khushi. Wow girl, you have were completely true to your character to day. And that is why I am not angry or upset with you for bringing Shyam back. (As annoyed as the romantic side of me is, as this mean less cute rabba ve's and more sad ones) Why I'm not angry at her, because this is who Khushi is. Always the do-gooder, ever positive person. She has always been shown as a nave, gullible, self-less person. And that is who I saw today. Just put yourself in her shoes, today (ok well in yest's episode, but the episode starts off with the same day so I say today) she saw Anjali, her sister and Arnav's life, in a fatal situation, with Arnav unreachable. She knows from the beginning that only two people have the ability to handle Anjali when she goes stubborn, Arnav and Shyam. The first was unreachable and she was unsure whether this time even he would be able to comfort Anjali, and the other reachable and Anjali's demand. So she goes, and just imagine how much courage it must of taken her to go to him, this is the man who has lusted after, who has tried to kill the love of her life, who is her husband's greatest enemy, and by going to him she knows she is hurting her husband, but she still goes, why? Because she see's him as the only solution, only way to keep Anjali alive, healthy and stable...why does she need Anjali alive, healthy and stable, well one becaue no one would want to see their sister-in-die, but more importantly because that will keep Arnav stable and sane. Not until Anjali is fine, she knows Arnav won't rest, and just the way Arnav stops functioning with Anjali sick/hurt/upset khushi stops functioning with him sick/hurt/upset. And so she does it for him, so he can be at peace, of course, while he gets some solace at his Di returning to normal, he goes berserk and looses all sleep due to having Shyam in the house, she does not anticipate this. For she knows that he would be angry with having shyam back in the house, but being the ever positive thinker she believes when he see's Anjali happy he will be happy too, and therefore would be ok with having shyam in the house. And the other reason why she thinks its a good thing to have shyam back is because, again to do with her positive-thinking and seeing the best in people and of course being gullible she buys Shyam's 'pain' at loosing the baby and believes him to be a changed man, and so thinks that by bringing him home Arnav will see that too and then all will be good in the world. Uh...no hun not true and you will see soon for yourself your mistake of bringing Shyam home. As his true colours will re-surface, and it is then I believe that Anjali will finally see them too, and when that happens the situation will be reversed, that is, today Khushi brought Shyam to save Anjali, then Anjali will kick Shyam out to save Khushi.
So yeah lol, this is my happy rant on today's episode, and a few theories on what will happen. Hope you all enjoyed today's episode too, if not, then I hope my essay on todays's episode made it seem slightly better if even that didn't then I'm sorry and the only thing I can think of that may cheer you up is, going and watching that short scene in today's episode where Arnav nearly strangles Shyam for uttering Khushi's name...haiye I was doing BHANGRA ON THAT SCENE!!! LOVED IT!! HIGHLIGHT OF THE EPISODE FOR ME!!!
