Really, I did. I used to think she was so sweet and loving, and such a perfect big sister to her little brother. My heart also felt for her because she was married to a cheat and a liar but didn't know what her husband was up to. When news of Daljeet leaving the show was going around, I'd hoped it wouldn't come true. I didn't think replacement could do justice to the character Anjali.
Now I genuinely wish Daljeet would leave. Not because I hate her, but because I hate Anjali. She's turned out to be a totally pathetic, brainless, weak, DESPERATE manipulator who is not winning any sympathy from the audience anymore. I want Daljeet to leave because I think, given the way the show is going, it's only a matter of time before the audiences resentment gets directed toward her.
Is Daljeet completely oblivious to the audiences displeasure and frustration with the current track? Is she really that desperate for the limelight that she will continue playing this character??
