Loved your analysis, but do not agree with you about Khushi, she is an innately good and forgiving person.

In fact to show a vicious Khushi would have been out of character for her

Sorry dear, Khushi may be silly, but she was never stupid, she was always a fiery, feisty and smart cookie, my Khushi will fight a killer to save her Arnav ji and di, not invite him home

I agree with you.But think this way Shyam need to come back because what Dadi said was correct no one proved what Shyam did so now is the time when Arnav need to prove what shyam did and what is he capable of doing so that Anjali wont ask for her Shyamji again

I know Shyam needs to come back, to move the story forward.

I also understand why Dadi believes him, after all the man has the power to charm others

I anticipated Anji asking for him to be brought back, he has played his cards very well with her.

It's Khushi's selective amnesia that I have a problem with.

She, more than anyone else, has seen his evil side.

She more times than anyone else has assumed that he is no longer a threat, and this nearly got her and Arnav killed.

She knows Shyam is capable of forgery, kidnapping and murder - she is the only one to have witnessed this.

So, from her this did not make sense.
