My experiment with the TV Guide

So, today is the TRP day .. a day when i see the other serials on the chart, and cant understand, why we are where we are ...

OK - so maybe - we have our falls and -ve points.. but have a look at the other serials on top of us !!

Am a married working woman ... so, i get home juz in time wen SNS starts. ...

Bored, and nothing much to do other than watch TV , i switch on my ever-ready friend ..

SP - Achaar Politics -- Oh No !!! I can't bear 20 mins of this ... !!!
Switch -- Zee, Sony, Colors - no no no no ...
[V] - Ok time pass - chalo


next - again SP - Why is everyone shouting in this serial ? Can't even hear myself think ..
Switch - Zee, Sony, Colors - no no no
[V] -- again time pass refuge

but y is my IPK not starting ...

and FINALLY -- 20 mins pass by fast ...
i mite or mite not be impressed with the episode at times, but not even once during the 20 mins, i feel like switching channel


Next - Again SP - nice serial.. they have had only one plot from the beginning, and still sticking to it ... again time-pass ..
switch -- zee - W*F !!!! they transferred the baby from one womb to another in a matter of day as the mother was supposed to be dying !!!! Are u frigging kidding me !! SWITCH !!!
Colors -- aaah , angry man - spunky girl -- been thr, seen tht --- not reliving the ArHi moments for me ..
switch b/w these 3 channels ...

Next ---
SP - lamp and wick
no offence ... it has got everything -- huge promos, episodes in advance, but oh-the-lead needs to kno about voice modulation and eyeball movement ...
switch - back to MTV and watch movie trailers ..

Next ---
Sony - Parent-Children -- aargh.. sensible serial -- no OTT .. but then whr is it in the TRP charts -- down below ...

the remaining serials in SP - i keep glancing and switching channels ...
and by this time, my husband comes bck from work ordering me off the couch :(

i watched almost all serials in my summer holidays at my nani's place as der was no internet
at that time my scedule was
6:30-suvreen guggal(sometimes)
7pm-IPKKND star utsav repeats or kairi(for nani)
7:30-sasural simar ka(for nani)
8:00pm-IPKKND n no one can interrept me
8:30EHMMBH
9:00chal
9:30-fir subah hogi(mami)
10pm-kya hua tera vada(mom n mami)
10:30-bade ache lagte hai(mom n mami)
then in the morning
10:30am-repeat of IPK sometimes
11am-punarvivah
11:30-pyar ka dard hai
12pm-madhubala

n now i only watch IPKKND,EHMMBH n recently started watching PKDH again
i found all other shows a bit boring no offence

i sooo agree with u .;..
i find the [V] serials better than some of the TRP ruling serials ..
we shout and scream for the teeniest illogical thing shown in IPK.. but some of these other serials are UNBELIEVABLE !!! saas-bahu taane, family drama tht can be stretched for months for some petty thing, and bad acting !!!

i only watch D3 from channel V
and IPKKND and PKDH FROM Star plus!
thats it!

weird... most of the ppl here , watch IPK and [V] serials ...juz like me !!! :D
