A Request ..

I am writing after a long time..but had lot inside to just let it out.. and could not think of any other place...

I saw a movie few months back where a woman takes on a terrorist who killed her husband and as result her child too... Being an action hero fan ,I never clapped or whistled this much when Salman takes on goons,but I showed no hestitation in whistling for this woman when she takes on this fight for her child..At time we are shown immersion of durga.. Well what is context in which i am saying this... It is weak characterisation of women characters in this show that has made me write after a long time...I understand this is just a fiction but it is watched by mostly women so it can be made as a medium to pass a message to those who do injustice and specially to do who become victim of the same...Why Anjali or even khushi for that matter needs ASR for delivering justice to them .. Why this time we all want ASR to set things right...

Shyam in this show has done injustice that is beyond any forgiveness or say redemption and he is culprit for all three - Arnav,khushi and most importantly Anjali.. I know anjali is delusional and blindly loves her husband but now she has lost everything coz of her love and desire for this man who is not at all deserving of such love.. Why cant we have her open her eyes to see reality ,understand it and then deliver justice for her baby and her brother this time around... When you show us man who has crossed all limits when he decides to kill his own child, I want you to show me his execution too.. no not by hands of a hero this time.. but by the hands of a mother whose child he killed...a wife whose dreams he thrashed and a sister whose brother's life he has endangered... I want justice to be given only by Anjali...

I know it is love story and we will be given situations to separate lovers or to build hurdles for them.. yes they have fought their own battles till now...Thus I am ready for the storm that writers intend to bring for them ..but do show me that they are together in facing this storm.. atleast show me that they became each other's strength

okay that is such long list of my expectations... 😆..hope someone hears it though..

Being honest on the first watch was shocked at the brutality with which the miscarriage scene was executed. Being a mother and having gone through the trauma myself it was heart wrenching to sit and watch . I couldn't fathom the fact that Indian soaps could deliver such disturbing scene with such ease without putting out a disclaimer. I cannot imagine how many mother's of young girls and as a matter of fact boys felt the scene was not a watch for their children.Heard from many friends at the forum how Anjali was being bashed '''.. why just because she lied to her brother she deserved to be punished ?Let me ask you'll a question , if ASR can love Khushi unconditionally , Khushi can love ASR why can't Anjali love Shyam ? How can people be so insensitive. Having not watched a single Indian soap before IPK really don't have a bench mark or comparison to other shows. As a viewer at this point Shyam's goals are unclear , hope the CV's have some sensible conclusion to all this madness in the near future.

Cv's you did a fantastic job , after such a long time while watching the show had my heart in my mouth and tears rolling down my face. Like you said Priya , for a dhamakedar episode where is the promo? Come on guys wake up time ''''..Gul , you are a smart lady have been in this industry long enough to know the dynamics of this game. Finally the story line is on track please get to work in getting the TRP's up. Having said this lets get back to the episode'''''..

Beautifully choreographed song sequence well done, was happy to see ASR not dancing. Why are the SBS segments always better then what we get to see in the episode. Loved Nk and Khushi dancing , Sanaya great job girl you not only look gorgeous but your expressions were bang on. Wow Aakash you shaking a leg '''''Buaji, Mami and Nani super job. Was happy the camera was not on Dadi during the dance sequence smart move director sab. Priya , the lyrics of the song Darwaza khula rakhna'.bus aur kuch na kahena aur kuch na karna'..dil ki baat dil mei hi daba ke rakhna''''.do we see much into the lyrics or not, batao please.

Arnav's heart and mind stays completely wrapped around Khushi , passion and longing taking over him. The man has never sighed away from showing his emotions in front of everyone which he does by pulling Khushi and hugging her .

Anjali's sequence not going to talk about too painful to write , sorry guys . The one thing that bothered me is'' no normal human being would keep on walking without checking what had pierced through their foot.What was Anjali thinking is she so blinded by Shyam's love to jeopardize her own and her baby's life.

The hospital scene was well executed with so many actors in one frame, the cameramen , direction super job. Just a request to the CV's please a little more background check and notes on how the paitent is handled after a miscarriage would have been beneficial. Khushi holding ASR's hand Nani in the background''''.During the song sequence Nani pushing Khushi towards ASR will she be the one to insist on proceeding with the wedding. Khushi is the only one who can handle ASR and Nani knows it.

Anjali we all saw how strong she is hoping to see Cv's let Anjali's character come out of this disaster stronger. We have had the lover boy for the past few days so ready to see ASR in his full Avatar hope Gul you don't disappoint us.

Ohhh If I, for a moment, had lost my way and forgotten how passionate the crooner can be, the real life sucking me like a vaccum cleaner, and I didnt miss the crooner enough for 2 days, this Crooner would remind me, that its not possible! That it's my loss everytime I cant come here and take your and the others take on the Show I love.

This Crooner was mindblowingly briiliant - you touched upon the episode exactly how I would want to, but I lack the capability to.

I am actually not surprised what happened on Friday Priya. Infact I expected it much earlier. And what was bothering me in between was not walking down the path I had thought was bound to come in Anjali-Shyam-Arnav track. That confused me..and I thought it was a neither here..nor there kind of an approach taken by the CVs.

I suspected that she would lose her baby by the sheer reluctance to bring in the baby bump. They took forever and everyday that passed without the bump, I felt maybe the baby will stay. I had thought the CVs had abandoned it.

Will they try to bring in another angle of the child when Anjali embarks on her quest for love, I wondered. Given a chance, i still think GH will make that happen - Anjali will be released from the shackles of her farcical marriage and embark on new journey eventually! Eventually is the very important adverb here 😛.

Maybe, Anjali wanting to kill her child in between was their attempt to see how audience would react to the idea. Anyhow I will touch upon that tommorrow when I get to update some more.

I will also take this chance and touch upon briefly on what I asked for, dreamed of Thursday episode. They didnt give my poolside romance and a barely there fingers on the waist...but they gave me enough.

I will try and write a tiny bit on the beautiful seductive song that Arnav Singh Raizada and his wife danced on Thursday against their signature tine. On they way he exhibited his right on her, called her to a side, protected her, even from himself...the dori that was tied with a promise that a simialr dori would be opened a few nights away... the looks of desire, of relief that she is his...

And then the Most Seductive gesture of Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada till date - fingers hovering in the air on her waist, not touching it...only a promise... to be followed by the dot on his hand...that he got only to make her happy. Siggghhh... I was this close to forgiving your lobher boy Priya..

I almost forgive him as you said I might by the end of the week... but it was Friday that did it for me..especially after a repeat watch this morning.

He redeemed himself with Friday... till he messes with my head and my romance again😉...right now... Flushing cancelled 😛😉

I think its better if it comes as a surprise...

No matter what Anjali believs... She has been wronged time n again... I want her to stand up for her baby n lash out at everyone who messed up with her Life. That may include herself too...!

Now Anjali can take any route against Shyam, Lure him back, keep him with her n then go for d final assault... I dont want Shyam's justification... Anjali can do anything to do revenge.

After all, 'hiding' isnt confined to one family... This time, she can strike. Not for 'parivaar'. Bt for her, her baby and her brother...

shyam never had a moral compass. he has no sense of morality whatsoever. never did. it always intrigued me how he could cogitate murder at the slightest thwarting of his intentions. he decided to kill shashiji on what provocation? the eternal tale spinner could have spun a tale, but no he opted for mortal blow. he possibly has a revenge theme in his life, perhaps built around a sister who was wronged by arnav's father. he is consumed by this and inherently his nature is such, there never was any room in it for a sense of right or wrong. arnav and anjali are fair game in this drama as far as shyam is concerned. in fact, making them suffer is an exciting proposition. and the child. does a character like this have the ability to care for such things. he is a psychopath, he operates outside the perimetre of normal. he is way outside it. somehow shyam's action doesn't surprise me. though i still believe nothing, not even his ridiculous modus operandi to bring about a miscarriage, tells me that he has it in him to be the "boss."

anjali. we have discussed her so often here. she has always intrigued. how interestingly the writers manipulated her character to evoke certain responses from us.

first we were shown a beautiful, loving caring motherlike sister. we just loved her and felt so sad that she was being taken for such a ride by her vicious husband, we also doubted her basic intelligence but forgave her because she did it for love of this man. when she turned and started doing things behind her bro's back, we were horrified. this carried on and our questioning of her character grew more strident. many of us were shocked.

why the disconnect between this anjali and the one who seemed so wise (as far as reading arnav was concerned), so clean, even determined and manipulative when she wanted to get something done for her fam's sake?

i started to feel that she has an innate darker side to her character, and in times of stress, when she is denied something she needs desperaty, that kicks in. she just does underhand things without even thinking, even when she knows it is wrong. her wishes are above all else.

now just before she has a miscarriage, we see her in extreme pain. walking on glass, bleeding, but still concerned about the one she loves. an agnipariksha almost. then she loses her child. all of us lost something inside us when that doctor said what he did. we are in the midst of changing emotions for anjali again.

she did bring it on herself, and some of us may see that as her paying for her sins. but is life ever so easy to understand? we may want her to be the one to finally deliver justice to shyam. we have about three months ago discussed this in detail. the black queen will rise we have felt. we amy see this, or perhaps not.

the writer will decide.

i am only left to think and wonder:

what happens to a mother to be when her first conception, achieved after many prayers and long years of trying, comes to an end a few weeks before the child is to be born? does a part of her die with it forever? what happens when she realises that the one she loved the most, deceiving even her beloved brother for him, that is the one to do this?

what happens to a person like anjali then? in all this moving of my emotions around this character, the writer has left a gap in my perception, it would be interesting to see if anjali can face her own deceptive streak, and if she can deal with her own nature.

life is unfair often, but there is beauty in it still. i hope to see anjali grow. and if she can deliver justice to the psychopath she was unfortunate to have fallen in love with, nothing like it.
