Agrreed yaar.even we know it is happening in real life..but as for my view many people watch this for entertainment...and today what they showed is not entertainment..

My dear...I'm a doctor by profession...I have seen this the most in my life...but I just wanted to say was this needed to be shown in a prime time serial...that too IPKKND?😲

Why not though?
It's reality, why shouldn't it be included?
Just because it's painful it's wrong to be shown and an actor acting as that man is wrong? WHY?

Okay agreed with you, these issues are important. I have myself seen couples aborting their child at their 20 wks or later citing reasons like contraception failure etc. These issues are important and need to be brought out...but you have shows like Satyamev Jayate and Lakhon mein EK for that, which deal with social issues. As far as I remember IPKKND was not meant for social issues.

I also think it was necessary to show. Most of the times you think of a bad husband you would think of an uneducated one, however statistics show that it is infact highest in the people of high socio economic status. We may hate Anjali but we are surrounded by people like Anjali and we sometimes ourselves act like her. Honestly speaking, I have not seen a single forum member ever complaining about their husbands in any single post. Priya you are a doctor and so am I. Can you tell me that husbands do not make mistakes. In most cases of miscarriages and abortions, who do you think coerces it or is responsible?

Totally with you on this one - the script was very disturbing although I wouldn't (in my wildest dreams) refer to Shyam as a father...he's the "donor" that's it and he more than proved it today. 😔

You're thinking of it as a social issue.
I think of it as a part of any story so why not in a love story?
