but does she decide the tracks and write the scripts? Is she the scriptwriter? Is she? Tell me was this the only way they could give Anjali's character some importance? or screen space?

The question is whether it was/is Anjali's character that we liked, or Dajleet in particular who's playing the character? You can separate the 2, u know, if your a reasonable person😆, Daljeet was playing anjali's role to perfection, till she started haggling for more screen time, thereby butchering the character. Now, if the audience doesn't have a problem with someone else playing the role, then daljeet should make a hasty exit, but then this all depends on how much demand she has in the industry, & given that the CVs have changed the track to give her more screen space, at the cost of Arshi romance, says that Daljeet might be more popular than we think!!!!😕

If your argument is that she was unaware of the story line, I can only assume that she is not all that smart in real life either because nobody re-negotiates "contracts" w/o understanding what they are getting into.

I am sorry, but I have no sympathy for her. Ehat she has effectively done is to shoot herself in the foot and ensured viewers will be wary of any future rolesshe plays!

It seems she wanted a bigger rile in the story which translates to more screen time.

The thing is that no one can replace Sanaya Irani's Khushi. Both the actor and the character are so loved by all that if Daljeet were to take on the role of Khushi, IPKKND will need to shut-down

So the CVs tried to give Daljeet more screen time, but in a negative role.

Will Daljeet be able to handle the negativity generated by her role ? Didnt we see an Abhaas Mehta (Snake) intervirw where he said people on the street approach him and tell him they hate him. He said it eas hard to deal with.

Pretty soon Daljeet will face the same hatred from people on the street - if she hadn't already.
