Everyone was silent. Dadi was raging with anger inside herself. Dadi said " pati patni ho, isska mutlab ye nahi ke, sharum ki koy cheez nahi"

Arnav tried to give Dadi a right answer put Dadi put her hand up. She said "bus, aur kuch nahi soona, mujhe pata hai ke tum meri baat kabhi nahi suntey toh koy mutlab hi nahi hai, ye larki tum pe jadoo jesi chayi hai"

Arnav could not hear anything his wife "Dadi! Khushi mein iss mein koy galti nahi hai"

Dadi "galti toh sub meri galti hai nah?"

Arnav said "ab aapka hogaya ko toh ab mein office jawo?"

Everyone watched Arnav go, he gave a relief look at Khushi saying everything is okay. Khushi's day hadn't gone pleasant and Dadi was talking about Arnav and Khushi to nani.Khushi sat their on the sofa not saying a word. Payal put her hand on Khushi's lap to say everything was okay. Khushi hardly ate some food.Arnav was going to come back home in half an hour. She got his food ready for him and brought the food tray to their bedroom. She didn't want to say anything about her day. She wanted him to be happy.

He came into the bedroom and put his briefcase carefully on the bed. Khushi was bending to sort the things out on the food tray. She was still wearing her beautiful lavander churidaar. He put his hands on her shoulders. She turned round. He put his cold hands unto her snow white cheeks. She gave a smile. he said "tum teek ho?" she nodded and said "ji Arnav Ji, aap kaana kaa lo ab, aap tukey howey lag rahey ho"

He looked at the food and said "tum ne kaana kaya?"

She nodded. He frowned "kyo jooth bol rahi ho?HP ne kaha ke tumne hardly kuch kaya hai, kyo?Dadi ne kuch kaha?"

Khushi held his hand" nahi Arnav Ji, humara mun hi nahi laga"

Arnav said " hum saath saath ye kaana kaye ge" he made her sit down. he took a piece of the roti and dipped it into the curry and placed it into Khushi's mouth. When Arnav was near her she forgot about all her worries, she always wanted to be near him. She took a peice and placed it into Arnav's mouth. They both smiled at each other. He wanted her to always be happy and see her beautiful smile on her face. Khushi took her hand and cleaned his mouth with a tissue. He stood up and went to the bed where his breifcase and stuff was lying. Khushi saw a gift bag, he bought it to her. he said " tumhare liye hai"

Khushi said " iss mein kya hai?" Arnav said " tumhi dekh lo" She put her hand inside and there was a blue shiny box. She took it out and looked up at Arnav. She carefully opened the shiny box, it was a necklace with the letters AK hanging from the chain, it had a silver chain and the AK letters had a tiny diamond in them. She tood up holding the box in her hand. Arnav came behind her and put her hair to one side, he took the necklace out and put it round her neck. She smiled. Arnav heard his phone ring, he went to pick it up. Khushi shaked her head.

They cleaned up and took the food tray down stairs to the kitchen and washed the plate and cups,. Khushi went upstairs and went to the pool side. She looked up at the stars and closed her eyes and said "hum kitne naseeb daar hai key hum ko Arnav ji jesey aache pati miley, un per koy moosibaat aaney na deyna, sarey duk humko de deyna, iss paarivaar per duk ka saaya bhi mut aaney deyna" He came and stood besides her and held her hand, she opened her eyes and turned to face him, he hugged her and held her tightly. She put her head upon his shoulder. She always felt safe in his arms.
