Why is Mami so bitter towards Payal?

I was just watching previous episodes of Iss Pyaar and I was on the episode where it's Shyam and Anjali's wedding anniversary, So basically when Mami gets aware of Akash-Payal's closelessness, well really Akash's and i was wondering why does Mami want such a high-status bahu? I mean, Okay, So Mami was poor before but fitted in well with the Raizada family after marriage with her jewellery and make up e.t.c.

Initially Nani and Mami didn't get on well with each other but you can clearly see Nani liked Payal so what's the problem with her? Why is Mami so negative with Payal? In fact, If Mami behaves nicely and starts to actually accept Payal, wouldn't that change Nani's perspective of her?..

people like maami never change! She's a bad person! You can't expect good from her that's why when arnav was kidnapped, her concern for him was a little shocking!

No no, She's got to have some ounce of good in her! I know she can be extremely frustrating but from the heart she's good :) When Arnav was kidnapped, She was worried! She would always say to Khushi "Arnav bitiwa" 😆 Aww! But seriously, This Payal-Mami duo surprises me! 😳

Mami has already accepted Khushi and Payal...she is just zaban ki kadwi...

She has an inferiority complex because of her background...I guess she thought bringing in a bahu with a higher status would would help her feel secure...e.g. consider why people who cannot afford still want Gucci bags? reputation, brand, status, ego booster etc.

Another reason could be that nani had issues with mami as she blames her for trapping her rich son...however, no one blames khushi and payal for doing the same even though they are for a poor family as well...so she is just jealous that these two got accepted by everyone so easily...

I think Mami is good at heart,She had some insecurities towards Payal because of her status but I think now she has accepted her but still she refuses to admit it...
