Jokes apart, I completely agree with your assessment. I've been watching epi from last year and they seem to be so well executed; be it romantic moments, sad moments, happy moments, comic moments. There seemed to be an explanatory flow, a simple logic. The problem starts happening when you introduce too many twists in the plot and can't wrap it up properly. The CVs need to understand that our memories is better than theirs (apparently) because their writers are constantly changing and understandably there is mismatch between their ideas.. but we (the viewers) aren't!

The CVs would do a lot better if they peeked into the IF forums sometimes. If nothing they'll get some original ideas.

I was expecting something similar to your perception of how the show should have gone post-Arnav kidnap track. But alas, with the current track I hope they do bring back the old magic. I feel the audience is at fault too (50 %)...hear me out before throwing chappals😆
Before the first teri meri song sequence, many viewers were getting tired of the nok-jhok and hatred track...they wanted quick confession and a start to the love story. But BAM! Shyam was exposed and we all felt betrayed with the 6 month marriage contract. Alas, again viewers were tired and wanted more than what was being showed as well as a fast paced story (me included). I feel that fans forget that this TV serial aims to go on for quite a while and therefore the story would obviously go at a much slower pace than normal show (ones that last only 18 episodes).
True, the CVs have sooo much to show in this show...many tracks have been introduced and yet there are so many questions that have been left unanswered. LM going was a real big loss for IPK as he really did do an ammmazing job as the director. In the end, it's a culmination of lack of good direction, creative team and audience taste. Long post but I hope I made sense.

Hope that upcoming episodes are filled with charm and excitement.

The perceived track story sounds a better version where there is a kind of balanced guilt and redemption expression combined with delicate romance.

The shortest redemption of few seconds against such a heap of MUs ... jama nahi.

Love stands above all is true but still whatever shown was not practical.

May be due to unavoidable probs, changes are required to be done but that should not hamper the beauty and trademark of the show.

Current episodes are equally entertaining but still there are lingering ... ke kuch choot raha hai..
