Due to bashing by one member - I would put a disclaimer that this is how I imagine sequences should have run, and I do believe that CV's also had similar thoughts, but one after other they kept on changing. Don't suggest me to stop watching!

After marriage they should have decided to break Khushi's spirit altogether - and then bring pain filled redemption

but they let that opportunity go by.

Ok - so one mistake forgiven...

After shyam's truth, they should have decided to make Anjali grey

No but, in their efforts to keep Anjali sweet and innocent, they made her a mess

They should have decided on Anjali - Arnav confrontation - both supporting their respective spouses

But they let that opportunity go too

They can't decide whether they want to show the kiss or not! (I can accept this one, its fun to see Arhi trying)

They can't decide whether they want clear cut happy once in life time marriage or a drama filled, bored wedding happening in background.

In their wish to be too different, they have come up with plots that don't appeal and are most illogical. Sometimes being predictable is good - because audience feels they were right about something and they connect with the show even more. there has to be good balance of newness and predictability.

And finally why can't they decide to do away with Shyam and bring a new, good looking, mature, sweet guy for Anjali. Even a traditional show like child bride is doing it and is being accepted whole heartedly. The show will also get a breather from all this mess!!!!!

When i see an episode as stand alone, it seems great to me. when i see the whole show as a unit, it is below average (except for casting and their acting, sometimes directing!)

I would have to give disclaimer that I am not bashing anyone - I think CV's should be stricter with their own story. Molly cuddling their baby into becoming a limp put together is not great.

Take Risks - thats how one survives in life, in business and in a story too. And if you justify those risks with good scenes, and logic, Audience will buy anything!!

but there has to be logic - I will give you that.

Now can you logically justify Dadi and Didi!!!!

Completely agree with you...

They have failed to take risk at times when it was needed and now the show has become an absolute mess with three different incoherent tracks...

To be honest when they brought in the forced contract marriage track I was really looking forward to few ( not dragged) episode of intense hatred leading to Khushi's breakdown and then Arnav's pain filled redemption...they tried to in the first few episodes but CVs' failed to deal with it in a matured way and rather brought cheap comedy to deal with the situation...I know Khushi is a very chirpy live life to the fullest character but CV had completely failed to use that situation which with a little bit of patience could have become a TRP hit..all they needed was the guts...

They dragged kidnap sequence (ok I know that they were helpless as Barun was off) but why do so much drag when none of the stuff ( all the evidence that Khushi gathered against Shyam were to get completely lost...instead of dragging so much on that aspect that time they could have also developed a lovely plot with Bubbly bonding with Payal and Akash and not show a 9 year old weirdly possessive about Mr A...they could have easily started a sub plot with that orphaned girl craving for a stable life and getting the love and care from Akash and Payal..thus not only strengthening Payash bond but also alluring the audience with an emotional sub plot...

I was shocked when there was not a proper single episode on the family reacting to Arnav's kidnapping...not even Arnav Khushi spoke about it ...

It seems they didnt expose Shyam properly so that they could bring him later but why during the wedding...everyone loves to watch a obstacle free wedding..dont think CV would even dish out that...

I fully agree that sometimes being cliched is beneficial...

I am not sure what the CVs are afraid of but it's high time that they take some strong decisions.
