Yes, agree with you that Garima may have suffered more but I think it takes real guts for a man to accept a woman embroiled in questionable circumstances (unless they knew each other from before). So while I do not intend to take away the gravity of suffering which Garima had to go through, I respect Shashi for extending the support without being patronizing.

Look at the way he quickly turns his eyes on Garima when Buaji comes in after Pooja as if urging garima to wipe her tears and keep things normal for Khushi's Khushi...That one action for me was so overwhelming... even when he is stricken, his affection and love transcends his illness..

Agree. Garima has some conenction with Khushi but Shashi though not having any blood relation has provided a home for Khushi and he is the one who has given strength to Khushi always. and never misunderstood her..even when she got married to Arnav in a jiffy..
