Till We both shall live

Hi Im Sheetal, Im new here. Im starting a ff based on our favourite couple SaRun. This is just the introduction and Character Sketch. I will post the first part very soon. Please do comment.

Introduction:-

Love recognizes no boundaries; it jumps walls, leaps fences and penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.

Some say that death is the only universal truth, but is it? This question is to all those who have loved someone at least once in their lives. Do you feel that there can ever be a greater truth is this world than true love?

This is the story of two star crossed lovers- Arnav and Khushi. Their love story is about how no matter where we are in the world, love will always bring us to the person we are meant to be with. It is about optimism and patience but mostly about faith. Kehte hai na kismet se zaada aur samay se pehle, na kisi ko kuch mila hai aur na milega.

Character Sketch:-

1. Arnav Singh Raizada ' The hero of our story, an extremely simple and down to earth person. He has always dreamt of falling in love with a girl and marrying her. He has been in a relationship with his elder brother's sister in law for six years now. And is as besotted as he was six years ago. He is in his final year of engineering.

2. Khushi Kumari Gupta- the heroine of our story. A very outspoken and bubbly girl. Some people call her reserved, some call her charming but everyone agrees that she is the most beautiful creature they have ever laid eyes on. They don't just mean her looks, but also her heart of gold. She's in her second year of graduation.

3. Payal Sharma- Khushi's best friend and elder sister.

4. Akash Raizada- Arnav's elder brother and his right hand man.

5. Lavanya Kashyap ' Arnav's Girlfriend.

6. Latika Kashyap Raizada- Akash's wife of six years. She is Lavanya's elder sister.

7. Anjali Raizada Jha- Arnav and Akash's sister. She is married to Shyam Jha and stays with him in Mumbai. She is extremely possessive about her brothers.

PART 1

Six Years Ago

The eldest son of famous business tycoon Mr. Ajay Singh Raizada is all set to get married to eldest daughter of Mr. Raghuvendra Kashyap. The bride's father owns one of the biggest retail chains for Gutka in India. The match between these two business families was fixed by the top most matchmaking company in Delhi and this arranged match has overtime blossomed into a love match. The hot topic in all the tabloids is how the groom is shamelessly obsessed with his wife-to-be. The Young lovers can't seem to enjoy a simple walk in the park without being mobbed by the media persons and paparazzi. So as a solution, they appointed their siblings as bodyguards to get few minutes of alone time. The wedding is five days away and it is the last time that the bride and groom will be able to meet each other before all the ceremonies begin for their Grand Indian Wedding. Today it's the chance of an 18 year old Arnav and a 16 year old Lavanya to act as bodyguards.

Arnav (feeling awkward on being left alone with a girl ):- Hi lavanya, kaisi ho tum?

Lavanya:- Kitni baar kahun aapse call me La, after all we are practically family right?

ARS:- yeah you are right lavanya, I mean La.

Lavanya:- Thank you. So Arnav, aap apne bare mein kuch batao. Humein kabhi theek se mauka nahi mila ek dusre ko jaane ka.

A:- Well, Im 18. Abhi MBBS ke liye prepare kar raha hu. Aur kya.. mujhe video games ka bohot shauk hai. Bas.

L: Wow.. aap shakal se hi bohot intelligent lagte ho. Im sure aap kaafi successful hoge life mein.

A:- thanks. Lo bhaiya bhabhi aa gaye.

L: Kitne pyaare lagte hai saath. Kaash hum..

A: Kuch kaha tumne?

L( smile on her lips): Nahi toh. Aapne kya suna?

A: Nahi, Kuch nahi.

After the marriage:

Life was great for ARS, It was as if fate was finally smiling upon him. Through the rituals Lavanya had kept on giving small hints to him that she was liked him. But ARS was too shy to say something first and he was smarter than to expect the girl to make the first move. So he was happy with how things were right now- a little harmless flirting and the hope of a beautiful future. He could just imagine how life would be- Bhai and Bhabhi, him and Lavanya..happily ever after. Today they were all going to bring bhabhi back after the pak phere and he was excited on the thought of meeting Lavanya. Akash, Anjali and Arnav all reached the Kashyap mansion and were given an extremely warm welcome. Akash obviously , went to see his wife at the first chance he got while Arnav and Anjali were stuck talking to the elders. Arnav had been looking all around for Lavanya but she was nowhere in sight. He had almost given up home of seeing her that day when she eneterd the house – a vision in pale blue t shirt and jeans. To an outsider she wouldn't seem pretty- yellow teeth, braces, short unruly hair but in the eyes of a naive18 year old she was Cinderella. She sat with everyone for a few minutes and soon pulled Arnav aside citing some excuse.

L ( hugging him): Hi I missed you

A ( too shocked too speak): Hi

L: Kya hua?

A: Kuch nahi, kaisi ho?

L: main ekdum badiya. Aap?

A: Main bhi.

Before they can even start a proper conversation, they are summoned by Akash saying that they have to leave. They reluctantly bid goodbye to each other cursing their siblings and fate for a missed opportunity. That night Arnav received his first call from a girl who was not his sister. He picked up the phone at the last ring for his heart had skipped a beat on seeing the caller Id.

A: Hello. Kaun?

L: Hi. Main bol rahi hu lavanya.

A: Hi Lavanya.

L: kitni baar kaha hai, call me La.

A: La sab bulate hain.. lavi theek hai.

L: Love, Lavi aap jo chahe bula lo.

A: Matlab?

L: matlab, I think I like you.

A: Same here.

Some people might find this sort of a reply unromantic, actually most will but here was a guy who had barely talked to girls all his life , who had to be taught the basic difference between a girl and a boy by his sister that too when he was in 12^th. This sort of a reply was like the most a flabbergasted but ecstatic Arnav could manage right now. They tried to talk after this but both were extremely embarrassed so wished each other good night and cut the phone.

Such conversations became the usual thing for these two, gradually they had more topics to talk about and it seemed as if everything was perfect. Everyone had a reason to be happy about. But how long was it going to last?
